Biden is mandating that businesses force their employees to receive a vaccine. Job or no job is force.

Desantis is mandating that businesses cannot force their employees to receive a vaccine.

The difference seems obvious to me.

Desantis- You CAN’T do this

It matters not that Desantis’ Mandate is seen as “helping” - its still just another govt mandate saying you can’t do something.

DeSantis is going further than the vaccine, he's going to ban employers from requiring employees wear masks.

Desantis is not saying the individual can't make the choice for himself. You can still get vaccinated. You can still wear a mask. He's taking the decision away from the employer. One looks like freedom for the individual, the other doesn't. It's VERY different. I don't care about the business. Businesses are just commercial organizations.

It is when you take away the employers right to require it. But again, DeSantis has now gone way past banning vaccine mandates.

I've said in another post I can understand people's support of his anti-vaccine mandate, disagree but understand. But I cannot see how anyone that considers themselves a conservative, free market person supports his mask mandate.

I think you need to understand what DeSantis is doing and it ain't defending anyones freedom. He's playing on the peoples ignorance, pettiness and anger.

Shots are forever inside your body, uniforms aren’t. I don’t agree with mandates that are negative, that would be the shot mandate. I agree that if someone mandates free choice that’s a positive.
If an employer like mine wants to mandate a shot, I still consider them, given evidence that the shot will not stop the spread, stooges with an agenda. It’s not about health and safety.
We had a deadline late in December. Most employees were taking the shots against their will in November to keep their jobs. January and February we saw the most cases of covid among employees missing an average of 5-7 days. They just survived 2 years of working with covid cases and just now caught covid. Highly unusual.
