The COVID-19 funding in Roanoke, VA went almost entirely to a non-profit "task force" headed by a flamingly gay "minister" that happens to sit on the council. Said task force was told to help the city understand violent crime (after said city began funding needle programs, cut police pay, and indirectly told officers not to punish small crimes at the behest of a group that wanted to go so far as to decriminalize theft).

Their only product? Effectively recreating the police department's already existent crime map.

Being in a local government looks like a nice racket.

Birx is a conspiracy theorist.

i think it’s important to point out that the new way of thinking for many people and certainly a lot of government officials is that an idea or conclusion, no matter how well it’s been thought through or reasoned, is a conspiracy theory if it doesn’t fit the government talking points.

Brix theorized the Chinese were working on a Corona virus vaccine in the lab and that’s why they were experimenting with the virus. Were they planning on releasing this to wipe out people once they had a vaccine that had desireable results?

It's so stupid - we are back to masking at work now because our county number of cases is "high" at this point. I don't even know what that means anymore.

Everyone wears them half on, and removes when they stop to talk to somebody. Nobody cares or wants to deal with nonsense anymore.

I was wondering the exact same thing. I was picturing those misters at restaurants in places like Phoenix where they mist water over you to keep you cool... The potential evil in all of this is right there for everyone to see, but no one seems to care
