Bacterial and fungal isolation from face masks under the COVID-19 pandemic | Scientific Reports

A study published in Nature shows what's already been known for decades: masks get quickly contaminated with pathogenic bacteria and fungi.

"The colony counts of face masks were higher in bacteria than fungi; the bacterial and fungal colony counts were higher on the face-side and outer-side, respectively. The longer duration of mask usage correlated with increases in the fungal colony counts but not the bacterial colony counts."

Wearing masks consequently leads to direct exposure to bacteria and fungi constantly being inhaled. This is particularly alarming since Aspergillus, Cryptococcus, Pneumocystis, and endemic fungi are major pulmonary fungal pathogens that can result in life-threatening invasive diseases.

Those who still claim that the benefits outweigh the risks should look at the size of mask pores and viruses. Masks neither stop bacteria nor fungi; how should they be able to stop particles that are even much smaller?

Same here. I very rarely get sick. The worst I've got is seasonal allergies and I may have those develop into a bit of a sinus infection every other year or so.

Every other time I feel "sick" is usually my own fault via eating/drinking too much.

I have never really been an "anti vaxer" at all prior to this particular vaccine. Growing up my mother was just always into natural health cures. My thing has always been why would I change something that's worked for me my entire life. My family has never been the type to always immediately run to the doctor everytime we get sick

In the process of patting herself on the back, she outright admits that she lied to the POTUS and the American people, made up crap with the plan to change the "science" once the initial recommendations were made, altered data and fabricated numbers to push what she thought was the best agenda.

Nothing about what they are doing makes sense. Destroying their economy for this even weaker version of the Wuhan virus. Unless they know something we don’t (since they made the virus) and there is some long term effects/damage from the virus that might be more damaging in the long run. and they’ve been trying to limit exposure to their population as much as possible.

If ths alleged game plan was to weaken the rest of the world economies by intentionally releasing a virus, then they are not gain an advantage if they are locking down their own economy also.

It's a control issue now for China. If they change their No Covid policy before Covid is gone, they admit they were wrong in locking down. If they dont lift their no Covid Policy but Covid still hits them hard, then they were wrong about that policy.

In a normal country neither should be a big deal, changing science and all that. But china is built on the State's authority, and a good chunk of that relies on them being correct. They were facing massive internal protests, and had to censor entire states it was so bad. And those issues havent gone away. So you add in Covid lock down failure on to the preexisting voting/history/minority abuse, and they are facing even bigger protests.
