That is not what I heard. Time will tell, none of this is easy to predict as there are moving pieces. Obviously he has a good thing going in Houston as well.
His true love is Texas no doubt though. My guess... depends on how TAM finished the year.
I think Houston has enough support among Big-12 presidents to be invited to join this year. He is guaranteed 5 million if that happens. If so, I think he stays at Houston for the time being.
That's why LSU needs a solid back up plan. Briles is a sleaze bag for sure but he can coach with the big boys.

Would Herman still be able to recruit the Houston area like he does now if he went to one those schools ? LSU is the perfect choice for him if he leaves Houston
