Yemeni forces have yet to confirm whether the drone was downed or if it crashed, as video footage shows the US drone in near-perfect condition. The fourth and fifth MQ-9 Reaper drones were shot down on 17th and 21st of May. The MQ-9 Reaper is worth around $30 million.

You sound silly. These militants are using Soviet era air defenses to knock out modern Western drones in Yemen and Lebanon. So if 40 year old Soviet equipment is knocking out drones, WTF do you think Russia's modern stuff is doing?

Again, the only one coping and sounding silly is you. The West/US is getting their million dollar equipment destroyed by Russian "shovels", "hand grenades" and shotguns in Ukraine and by guys in sandals using Soviet era air defense systems in the Middle East. That isn't "cope", those are just facts.

The days of large naval ships is drawing to a rapid close. I would expect in the future any nuclear vessels will be prime targets of the cheap defense systems.

Low cost weapons can possibly be hard to deal with even with large battle groups.

These people are going to be almost impossible to fight, probably even much harder than the Taliban.

A carrier in the Red Sea or Persian Gulf is not in its preferred AO. It’s an “easy” target because it’s easy to find and track. But a drone carrying conventional munitions isn’t going to sink one, ever.

All the Houthis can do is harass and hide. Claim victory if they break something and have useful idiots like Ras and Lord Bebo cheer them on like the imbeciles they are.

Well, an easy solution, would be for the USA to stop putting its nose in other folks business. Just stay home and watch them cut their throats. No policing, no rescuing, just minding our own business. We have plenty of problems of our own that need solving right here, right now. All we're doing is creating resentment of the USA worldwide.
