Ah so your bar for success is to be better than Jeremy Pruitt? Got itWere you aware that when the last guy left, nearly all our playmakers and solid recruits left with him, leaving the current guy to essentially rebuild an entire program, and within those three years he’s 27-12? Because that’s pretty fantastic considering the circumstances.
The fact that I’m year 4, 8 months from kickoff (as has been pointed out), we are looking at starting a walk on at OT signifies a problem imo. Poor evals and poor recruiting at that position. There’s really no way around it. It’s gotta be better. We’ve seen what Ellarbee can do with top talent, but if he can’t get any here then his coaching and development only go so far.I understand what you’re saying but you have no idea yet if it’ll be a problem, which is what I’m saying. Pretty excited to watch it play out!

At this point in time, it is a problem. Sounds like you agree. We have no idea what the portal looks like after spring but there is a chance that the selections aren't much better. If that's the case, the misses remain the issue as they are today. There are a lot of misses to point to.You would have a point if this was the end of the transfer portal, but it’s not so you make absolutely no sense but be my guest and continue complaining about the roster when it is not even set for Fall yet…
A walk on starting on the OL is Dooley years stuff. That isn't a standard issue by me. That's a significant roster issue by all but a few of you. Hope we get lucky with the spring or one of these two OL gets convinced.Bc I like to see who UT is recruiting and which guys decide to be Vols.
Miss me with the sky is falling bc the the roster isn’t up to your standards energy. THAT is FF energy.

And that should be an attractive selling point to these top portal lineman, but for whatever reason, it isn't. So recent success isn't an issue. Future promise, isnt either. Money isn't an issue, apparently. Just a weird situation. For some reason, these kids don't want to come here. I know there was a recent negative recruiting angle that our system isn't a good preparation for the NFL, but Darnell Wright should have suppressed that notion. We’ve won 11 games and 9 games the last 2 years with a promising young QB being given the keys to the offense.
There are only like 9-10 other programs in the country that have had that type of success over the last 2 seasons.
Feels like an excellent position to be in.
His minutes vs Iowa indicate it. How do you know he won't?
Or maybe they just aren't money hungry asshats with zero loyalty.I will point out to everyone this is about money most of the time. Doesn’t look like Tennessee is spending a lot BUT you look at guys like Pearce, Omari, etc and those guys aren’t hitting the portal so you know they’re getting taken care of.
Heard hasn’t visited Ole Miss. You sure he’s not referring to Pounds?View attachment 608115Just so happens that heard is 6’6 350…![]()
