I don't think Saban would refuse the Texas job out of loyalty to Mack Brown. That being said, I doubt that he's headed to Texas.
He wouldn't refuse the job, just wouldn't negotiate it while there is an incumbent that has not been publicly fired.
We fans hate other teams and their coaches but the coaches themselves are mostly friends. (Although there doesn't seem to be much love for Meyer).
