I'm about half way thru this and I haven't read this thread other than a few posts on the front page. My take at this point is that Avery did it AND the cops framed him. Not sure what to make of Dassey. Im wanting to say he's been coerced into a confession. He's not a smart kid. Thought he was going back to class after copping to a murder.
Smart fellow. What makes you think the cops framed him or why they even needed to frame him? The idiot framed himself. Stupid enough to dispose of her right behind his house and leave all kinds of evidence not to mention the car.

I don't think the cops framed him so much as they took measures to help ensure a conviction. (bad wording on my part in the previous post)
The key magically appearing and the blood vial with the pinhole are pretty hard to just look past.
But I don't think the cops framed him for a random murder committed by someone away from the Avery yard. I mean if you are gonna go to that extreme, then you have to think the cops murdered the woman after she left Avery's house and then brought her back onto his property and hid the car also.
Just my take at this point in the show. Haven't completed the series yet.
This is the way I'm sure it went down. The DA calls the FBI:
"Hey ole buddy we have a little problem down here."
"What's that? How can I help?"
"You've heard about the Avery case?"
"Yeah, slam dunk if I ever saw one."
"Well not so fast. Those crafty lawyers have convinced everyone my Sheriff's deputies tampered with the blood. And, I'm not so sure myself. You know the vial has a pin hole in it."
"Yeah, that's how you draw blood out of the vial."
"We'll they've convinced everyone that it's been tampered with."
"That's what lab technicians do. They tamper with it."
"You know how juries are. Well anyway we need you to test the blood samples from the car to make sure they didn't come from the vial, hint, hint if you know what I mean."
"Gotcha."
No spending anymore than a minute on you isn't worth my time. Minute's up.
