He hasn't called the same exact plays all year dumbass. Auburn has more talent than just about every other team in the SEC. Almost anything would work for them, on top of having an easier schedule than most.

Although you repeat a point that has been made several times during this thread you call him a dumbass? That doesn't make a lot of sense.

Auburn won no SEC games last year with these great players. You'd think if the players were that great they'd have won at least one game.

Their offense was horrendous and their talent was mismanaged. Sorry you don't agree, but their skilled players are very good.

Maybe if we had Malzahn as our coach you'd think our skilled players were very good. I wonder who our starting quarterback would have been this year?

A few of our skill players are good. They can't play defense though... Of course you probably don't know that.

Funny that Houston Nutt hired Mahlzan out of highschool, refused to turn the offense over to him, which started his descent and eventual exodus from coaching. What a moron.

Good point. If Nutt had only turned the offense over to him and made him the head coach in waiting with a substantial raise they might both still be at Arkansas.

He's solid, but i don't think he could scrape 8 wins out of this team. We ain't built for the spread he runs. We ain't built for the spread WE run yet.

Yes. They are 9-1. Most likely to beat UGA and play Bama at 10-1 and at worst end up in a New Years DAT bowl. Pretty good for a first year coach.

Yes, that is a great season and he is a great coach, although i maintain the schedule is not as difficult as a lot. But the point I was trying to make at first is he did not coach an absolutely phenomenal game today because UT was outmatched talent wise and that was their undoing, so ultimately he never had to make any decisions that would make you wonder about his coaching abilities.

Kind of like when Dooley and co. took on NC State last year.

Yeah, but you're not, so you don't.

You're pretty abusive, do your relationships work for you? Why don't you at least direct your abuse toward a Bama fan? Can't you debate without the abuse or is your life just that miserable?

What needs to happen at this point is we need to accept that we've played 6 top ten teams (at game time) this year and give credit where credit is due. Those teams are better than us right now. Pump all the sunshine you want, tint your shades to any orange you'd like. Get mad and point the finger at Jones, Dobbs, the OLine, the DLine, Dave Hart, John Adams, Bleacher Report, Derek Dooley, Kiffin, Kesling, team speed, special teams, tackling, etc. The LAST thing anybody is talking about is how good the teams are that we've played. For example, the coach of the year in the SEC just walked off the field at Neyland... and it wasn't Butch Jones... now look at Auburn's roster, record and ranking. Any fair weather fan or unbiased college football fan would've screamed War Eagle at kickoff today...

It's the fact that you're finding ways to try and make Butch look like half the coach Gus is, when Butch only has half the talent to work with.

I don't agree with your premise that Butch has half the talent but there is still nothing wrong with me making that point. Go fix whatever is wrong with your life then maybe you can come back here and make a point.

Nothing's wrong with my life. I'm happy with everything about me and who I surround myself with. Perhaps it's you that has the problems, since you're making assumptions about someone you don't know. Are you trying to make judgements about a stranger to make yourself feel better?

Coach Malzahn Outcoached Butch before last year's bowl games were over. How so? He hired Ellis Johnson as his DC (who I was hoping CBJ would hire, at the time)...proven SEC DC...unlike Janzek, who got fired from UGA, and had loads of talent at his disposal.

He also hired one of the best DL coaches and recruiters...Rodney Garner. I knew they got a leg up on us, at that point, but didn't expect the first year to be so different.

I'm basing my assumptions on a stranger who is abusive to others because he doesn't agree with them. There is definitely something wrong with your life.

Excellent point I think.

Insisting something is wrong with someone you don't know is actually a psychological phenomenon.

I admit I should not have cursed, it just p.o'd me that everyone jumped all over me for stating something so minor.

Anyways... You might want to get that checked out.
