I wonder if this will gain any ground considering the current political climate and growing support for legalization.
I know my family would love to switch from tobacco to cannabis if it’s ever legalized. Seems like a very profitable crop for the south too. Particularly North Carolina and Tennessee.
Marijuana decriminalization vote expected in House
Omg.... there’s a name from the past. Him and Marty were a pair. Marty used to come in the lab and you could smell the alcohol on him from a good 10 feet. Wayne came in one morning after being out with Marty at a bar over near Hillsboro Village and told us Marty had gotten so trashed the night before that he fell and hit his face on the curb..... knocked out one of his front teeth..... found it on the sidewalk and crammed it back up into his gum. Marty came in later looking rough.... but he miraculously kept the tooth. It livedI'm thinkin you spent too much time with Wayne Davenport.
I’ve also read that mushrooms and low doses of lsd have shown to be effective for treating depressionOne of my best friends comes from a very strict Mormon family. Her Dad spent his professional career as a church educator. Her being a coffee drinker was major drama for the family. Long story short, she convinced her brother, who has been dealing with completely debilitating depression and anxiety, to try CBD and THC. He's off all his other meds now and his parents will write you a testimonial about the miracle that's been worked in his life.
HIPAA has nothing to do with that, most HRs have a requirement that if someone is using narcotics (even legal prescriptions) they have to declare them to their employer...and it does not exempt them from being under the influence while at work, which is both fireable and a crime
Not true. People have negative effects off of it all the time. Especially those with psych issues, brain issues, and depending on how you take it other related issuesOne can lethally overdose on alcohol and opiates rather easily, yet it is near impossible to do the same with THC, and THC has legitimate medical uses - yet here we are with it being illegal. Alcohol and tobacco are clearly linked to a number of other life threatening diseases as well.
Literally the argument to keep marijuana illegal has nothing to do with health or safety. Nothing.
