I thought he was suspended for not being able to correctly spell his own mascot. GO TROGANS!

The bitter ex-lover attitude here pertaining to LK is hilarious. At least you nimrods quit calling him X.

I can tell you have been in Knoxville a long time, you still think we do the right thing....

By the way what do you consider a credible witness, one who owns a bar or one who drinks at a bar?

I don't want to burst your bubble, but they are football players at UT, they got off because of it. I was not there because I don't play football and I would still be in jail if It was me.

If you think truth holds priority at KPD you are just kidding yourself, people who do a lot worse get off clean every day with a few dollars paid to right person

The bar owners definitely weren't credible witnesses. Their stories changed every time they were interviewed. The "victim's" injuries don't match up to what supposedly happened. The cop's own brother stated that the cop received the head injury when he was knocked down, not from being kicked in the head.

I don't doubt that UT pulls strings when it can, but I definitely don't think this situation was what the press made it out to be. Again, if it happened the way a few people said it did, then that kid would have injuries way worse than a few bruises, and more than likely someone would have recorded the footage on their cellphone.

Cell phone cameras work great in dark bars and parking lots at night.

I don't know exactly what happened, but it wasn't anything good. I'd rather a kid show up a tad late to practice than injure a cop's brain. Maybe that's just me.

Markeith is like, 6th on the depth chart at SC right now. Of course he doesn't have much stats.

Markeith has now been upgraded to "officially off the team"

Coach Lane Kiffin confirmed that freshman receiver Markeith Ambles was no longer on the team. Ambles had been suspended a few weeks ago. He had rejoined the Trojans but was absent from practices last week. Kiffin declined to specify why Ambles was no longer part of the program. Ambles could not be reached for comment. "We wish him and his family the best of luck," Kiffin said.

No, you recruit the best player you can find. Whether they are Rhodes Scholars, thiefs or murderers. Ask Lane.
You say this in jest, but unfortunately I believe it's true with a lot of coaches. Not just in football, but almost any sport, at any level.

Really thought he would do something. Hopefully he gets whatever is wrong with him fixed and turns things around, because he no doubt is a great talent whether you like him or not.
