If Martin leaves I'd probably have to laugh it off instead of breaking down and tearing my house apart. I don't know how much more UT can take of this nonsense. I have found over the last few years nothing shocks me anymore. Even if Martin leaves atleast we got stokes? It'd be a very sad day if it happens, but again nothing shocks me anymore.

There's no doubt that Illinois want smart as #1 the issue is supposedly Shaka wants more than they're willing to pay and many just feel they're so at apart that they won't reach a deal.

the reason our coaches names always come up is because our fan bases have 5 page threads after every win wondering when the coach will leave and 5 page threads after every loss wanting everybody fired.

Shaka is in a unique position. Similar to Brad Stevens. He is very happy being at a small school with little pressure and tons of built-up equity. They pay him well, and it allows him to command a high price to prospective schools. If someone wants to pay him 3.5 million dollars, fine. If not, he is happy where he is. He has said it before; if it were about the money, he'd be gone. It's just not all about money for him and his family.
