New House Speaker Mike "American Taliban" Johnson has announced his solution to mass shootings in America: "I pray this evil will end."

That should do it, Crazy Mike! It's sad nobody thought of this great idea sooner!

Classic conservative/GOP do-nothing nonsense.....

I really don’t like Pelosi at all, but Dems do at least have policy platforms that def would reduce shootings or at least casualties from them. Of course you will say they won’t, but all NRA shills say that.

Including the ones that send out "thought and prayers" and absolutely nothing else.

You can't list any policies the Dems have proposed that would stop or reduce mass shootings. But to answer your question. Just like the Dems have no solutions, neither do the Republicans.

Kneeling with kente cloth wasn’t about shootings, it was about George Floyd and 100% comically performative. Not sure why that makes praying on camera any less performative though

Horse crap, many of the people who staunchly oppose gun control don't even own guns. They do however understand why we were afforded that right......

I agree there are, and I count you among the mentality disturbed people on this board. And God forbid someone likes you gets the power of office, people like you and your counters on the other end of the political spectrum are explicitly who the founding fathers enshrined this right to combat against.

They had an assault weapons ban for like ten years during which deaths and number of incidents were down and they’d prob institute it again if they could get past GOP obstruction. That’s just one example. You want me to list individual things so you can read to me from your shill handbook about why it won’t work. I’m good on that, I’m on a nonfiction kick right now.

I like how you’re like "well.. what can you do?" when virtually every other civilized nation on the Earth has almost zero of these killings and we have 565 this year with 2 months left.

You care more about having a certain kind of pew pew than people’s lives. Just embrace it, there, complicit. Well, you kinda have I guess.
