Excellent, then we need no class disruptions for that. Unfortunately, that is not the same the Mulsims are called to do. They are not only asked to keep in constant communication by opening themselves to the spirit through silent (open) prayer ... they are asked to face in a certain direction and follow a certain protocol. The Christians can pray without ceasing throughout the class through silent connection and the Muslims can hit the floor of the classroom (or in a room that is reserved for them since that might be disruptive), as they are each called to do.
But if the Christian child prays out loud, they will be stopped. Remember we have to also include the Jewish child also. There prayers are not tolerated in school. But the Muslim child can do what they want to. I have first hand imformation because I get all the federal guidelines on what is and is not allowed.
It really goes deeper but I'm sure you don't want to stay up all night to discuss it. I'm on Fall Break this week so I can stay online longer than usual. Oh, and I'm not a student. I sit behind the Big desk!
