Masters Week!

Which group are you following, or do you pick a spot and watch everyone come through.
Don't follow groups any more. Usually spend my time at the range and a few spots (like 10 tee, beside 11 green / behind 12 tee, behind 17 green / behind 18 tee). I run away when the big names come, but when it's mid tier guys and they're not contending, you can actually get up close enough the hear how hard they're not hitting putts.

a guy can be fickle can't he. I've just always been an Els fan. Would put him a PGA away from career slam.

I like Els myself... but I still want an American to win it, even if it meant rooting for Raymond Floyd in the end...well now that I think about it..

Boom Boom, I'm all for, but Floyd's hard for me to root for cause he's a fraud for the TV and he has the ugliest swing this side of Charles Barkley.

Fuzzy Zoeller and Craig Stadler... two fiftysomethings turned in very respectable 2-overs in round one, don't know if they can keep the pace or not but I'm rooting for them. Kinda gives me hope that maybe I won't be shooting 12-overs in a few years.

I'm just kiddin about Floyd, can't stand the guy. I met him at the opening of his new course ( Arrowhead ) in Myrtle Beach a few years back, not too appreciative of his fans or his clientel...pretty much an ass, loved the course though..a good 27 hole layout with great fairways and pretty playable for any handicap.

I watched TWatson on the range. He still hammers the ball and it moves a lot less than it did in his younger years.

How about the swing of J Singh. I saw that cut he took on 16, and thought he just duck hooked one.

Then it ends ups 4 feet from the cup.

The lead now is at -3 and the forecast for tomorrow is for a high of 52 with north winds at 15-20 mph. If a cold wind blows, anything under par thru round 3 is going to be great.

Lead just backed up to -2. 2 or 3 under on Sunday might win this thing.

Z. Johnson had quite a collapse there today. Botched a couple of short putts that would've put him in the lead by 2 I think. Instead he left that hole tied for the lead and was 2 shots back last I checked.

Man, Johnson hit a great shot on 16 and then completely screwed the putting up as much as was humanly possible.

Tiger being Tiger, playing very average to bad, yet still capable of winning.

Should be an interesting next 2 days.

I don't if anyone noticed but the bunker on the right side(left on TV) of the 18th really got some traffic today:dunno: . Then some had to take two shots to get out. There must have been some cross-wind near that green.

I'm shocked that he putts as well as he does with that jacked up looking grip. He gets it done though. In fact, I think he was the only American making anything in the last Ryder Cup
