Maui fire. What is going on?

EXCLUSIVE: FEMA Officials are Staying at $1,000-A-Night Luxury Hotels in Maui amid recovery efforts in Lahaina

Bungling U.S. government bureaucrats dispatched to the Maui disaster zone are shacked up in $1,000-a-night luxury hotels on the Hawaiian island, DailyMail.com can reveal.

Officials from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) have been slammed by locals over their slow response to the devastating wildfires that have claimed at least 114 lives and left thousands of people homeless after their houses were scorched to the ground.

The beachside resorts are popular among the rich and famous and located about a 45-minute drive away from the fire-ravaged town of Lahaina.

It's not crazy to say that climate change contributed to the conditions that made the fire so severe. However that has little to do with the local government's preparedness (or lack thereof) and response which they seem to have absolutely fumbled. Climate change is not a get out of jail free card to cover for their incompetence.
This is a fairly reasonable post.

But I disagree. Sort of.

The incredibly ambiguous and undefined “contributing factor” in and of itself becomes the “get out of jail free card”. It leads to the unproven claims and gradation of “severity”.

As if these storms would be but a tempest in a teapot… if not for climate change.

That tornado? Wouldn’t have been as bad…
That hurricane? Wouldn’t have been as bad…
That flood? Wouldn’t have been as bad…
Those fires? Wouldn’t have been as bad…

The voice of truth must bother you
I listened to the clip. I didn’t find her annoying.

She offered three (3) pieces of evidence that Joe Biden’s first public comment were not “no comment” -

- a signed document
- a statement from the Governor of Hawaii
- a statement from the Mayor of Maui

Maybe she had more. She got cut off.

Well, you know I love my smartass remarks...

I'm saying it's crazy to just blame climate change without looking at any other factor. Or mentioning any other factor. Just as crazy as space lasers actually. Just like the conspiracy crowd is nuts, so is the climate crowd. You can't even mention alternatives to the conspiracy crowd without them going off about how brainwashed you are just like you can't mention alternatives to the climate crowd without them going off.

Don't feel attacked, Huff, it's a rant.
Don't be a sheeple.

Yep, that’s the description. Tow trucks drivers are saying this.

Maybe the pavement is so hot, the car imbeds into the pavement. Idk

But Joe almost lost his prized corvette and a cat. Who gets up to a podium and compares his lame experience to people who lost everything and loved ones? Oh of course, it’s Joe Idiot Biden. This guy can’t outdo himself, never disappoints.
Biden will win Hawaii by 20+ points in 2024.

Then the inevitable once trillions have been pumped into the climate change agenda when it ain't working, "we must do more for climate change". Dinosaur dong must've helped set the earth on fire during the Cretaceous period.
