McRae going PRO?

Hope he enjoys the pros. He was less than good with UT and was part of the great meltdown against Mercer last night where the whole team just quit.

We don't need quitters and am happy if he moves on and we give the scholarship to another more deserving student.

This is ridiculous. The guy was 1st-team All SEC and will have a chance to be SEC Player of the Year next year.

1st team All SEC. I don't want him gone, but that's just me.

"As of now I would be surprised if both those guys weren't back next year. I haven't picked up any buzz that makes me think they're leaving, or that it would be a good decision for them to leave. As I've said before, I think if they got any solid feedback that they'd get drafted, like most kids, I believe they would both love to go, but not getting the vibe that will be the case."

Good news. That may save Cuonzo's butt next year. Glad they're most likely coming back. Stokes will be even better with Maymon to force them to not double team him. And I think McRae will get the same treatment with Hubbs providing another threat. Looking forward to next year.

Durant and McRae shouldn't even be within a sentence of each other right now :p

but i agree that McRae can potentially be like JR Smith...lotta similarities, at least to my untrained eye

Comparing McRae to Durant? You realize Durant is basically 7 feet tall?

This. Plus his game is on another level. I was lucky enough to watch Durant play in college in Knoxville. Durant as a freshman would straight up school McRae as a Jr.

The comment was that he was too skinny and weak to play in the league. My comment was that kevin durant couldn't even bench what an above average middle schooler can these days coming out of college and he did just fine. The two are nowhere near the same talent wise, but physically they are similar, long, skinny, and wiry.

and before someone says "Durant is 7 feet tall" I'll say, yes, which makes his skinniness at the time and his weakness even more apparent and a hazard in a more physical game and season.

@JimmyHyams: Counzo said he might play division II teams if those games don't count on RPI. Said he'd know about stokes, mcrae pro value in week or so

If you are not gonna be drafted in the first round may as wait another season and see if you can improve that. I think McRae could because he only started playing well at mid-season. He could really light it up in the SEC next year and be a high draft choice.

The draft will be much, much stronger next year. If Mcrae ever hopes for guaranteed money this is the time. I don't think he is ready and hope he stays, but, the draft is weak this year with all the dominant teams having four or more loses. js
