Media Wars

A look back at how Democrat guard dogs in tech and media lied to the nation to elect Biden:

15 Media Figures Wrongly Said Hunter’s Laptop Is Russian Propaganda
1.) MSNBC’s executive producer Kyle Griffin
The Trump campaign claims Facebook is “censoring journalism” because Facebook plans to limit the spread of the NY Post report. That is not censorship. Facebook is under no obligation to allow a disputed report that appears to contain disinformation to spread on their platform.
2.) Publisher of the Ink Anand Giridharadas
Today’s New York Post is a reminder that this James Murdock media redemption tour is happening too soon, too unaccountably, without real atonement and compensation for the tens of millions of victims of years of disinformation, and no serious journalist should fall for it.
3.) Daily Beast reporter Wajahat Ali
Good. Russian disinformation meant to harm our democracy shouldn’t be given mainstream platforms.
4.) Managing cditor of Truthorfiction.com Brooke Binkowski
The great thing about this is that it’s very easy to see who is committed to pushing known Kremlin disinformation
5.) NBC News correspondent Heidi Przybyla
Wikileaks were “hacked materials” & part of a Russian disinformation campaign. It became egg on every media that ran breathlessly with it.
6.) Writer Chip Franklin
Raise your hand if you appreciate Twitter for censoring the BS anti-Biden disinformation article from the New York post
7.) MSNBC contributor Ben Rhodes
The right to spread false Russian disinformation about American political leaders on social media platforms is not the hill I would choose to die on.
8.) Washington Post opinion columnist Max Boot
The @nypost story about Hunter Biden is false–and quite possibly part of a Russian disinformation campaign. The Ukrainian prosecutor wasn’t actually investigating Burisma. He was, in fact, complicit in corruption—which is why Biden demanded he be fired.
9.) MSNBC’s Naveed Jamali
As a former double agent I know foreign intelligence services will “wash” their involvement in disinformation operations. My spidey sense are tingling on this one.
10.) Mother Jones Publication
Giuliani and the New York Post are pushing Russian disinformation. It’s a big test for the media.
11.) CNN anchor Brian Shelter

12.) CNN anchor Wolf Blitzer
We do know that it’s a very active Russian campaign, and that’s according to the U.S. intelligence community.

13.) NBC News correspondent Ken Dilanian
… whether that was actually a product of a foreign intelligence operation. Obviously, Russia would be the chief suspect there.
14.) MSNBC Morning Joe’s regular contributor Dave Aronberg
[The story] looks like it’s tied to Vladimir Putin in Moscow.
15.) CNN anchor Jim Sciutto
This is most likely Russian propaganda.

CNN's new Boss Chris Licht is 'working towards cease-fire on network's aggressive coverage of Fox News' and wants to Push Hosts Away From Trump-era 'opinionated and emotional' reporting and Back to Hard News

  • Chris Licht, 50, has already begun closed-door conversations with key figures at the conservative news network, two sources close to the matter said Tuesday
  • Licht made it known to the staffers that he is working towards a ceasefire on his network's now-notorious negative coverage of the competing news station
Incoming CNN boss Chris Licht plans to nix the network's left-leaning commentary when he assumes the role of president this May, insiders say, and has already engaged in talks with rival Fox News about halting its aggressive coverage of them.

Former CBS exec Licht, 50, who headed Stephen Colbert's Late Show for six years until it was announced he was replacing ousted boss Jeff Zucker last month, has already begun closed door conversations with key figures close to the conservative news network, two sources close to the matter told The Daily Beast Tuesday.

Licht reportedly told certain Fox reporters and agents to breathe a little easier because he is working towards a ceasefire after his network's unrelenting negative coverage of the competing news station.

The exec plans to push hosts like Don Lemon and Jim Acosta away from opinionated reporting that became especially prevalent during Donald Trump's election campaign and presidency. He wants to return to the station's roots as a hard-hitting news source, the insiders said.

So far, the insiders' assertions have proved credible - on Sunday, there were notably no Fox mentions on CNN's flagship media program, Reliable Sources, with Brian Stelter, who last year penned a book; Hoax: Donald Trump, Fox News and the Dangerous Distortion of Truth.

CNN founder Ted Turner's biographer Porter Bibb recently said that Turner and Malone 'adamantly' opposed 'what Zucker did with CNN, turning it into an opinion network, to compete with Fox and losing the concept of hard news 24/7.'

Is he trying to convince us that opinionated and emotional started during the Trump era?

This would be nice. I’d like to be able to turn on CNN again without having to check the host first.

Politicians are liars who simply want to obtain and remain in power, while suckling at the wallet nipples of common citizens. And that includes the Trumpette Republiars as much as the Democreeps. Hey, Dave!!?? You got it right long ago, eh? Psalm 14:3 and so did Paul - Romans 3:12 - 17

What about media hosts? Since when have they been unbiased?????? Good as they were, I have doubts about Huntley and Brinkley, Jennings, and even my all-time favorite Cronkite who may well have been the last truly honest news anchor.

I like the sentiment but Cronkite was as full of sh!t as the rest of them. The corporate media agrees on one thing and that is perpetual war.

Well, I did say: I have doubts about Huntley and Brinkley, Jennings, and even my all-time favorite Cronkite
I don't have enough evidence that he was just as biased as others. However, since he was human, I wouldn't be surprised to discover he was as biased.

tweeter and the southern poverty law grifters have the BB on their "hate group" lists
But Putin still has a Twitter account. The Bee is more dangerous and despicable than a guy who orchestrated bombing multiple Russian apartments to rise to power in 1999 and has launched another major unprovoked attack on a sovereign country

Fox News is killing it, along with more nuggets that discuss the news leader smashing the competition in every phase.

Fox News Gains As CNN, MSNBC Drop Significantly In February Cable News Ratings

Despite huge breaking news in the form of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, cable news viewers turned away from the longtime leader in covering major world news, CNN, and flocked to Fox News Channel. According to ratings data compiled by Nielsen, Fox News had the five most-watched shows in cable news, with The Five finishing February in first place with an average total audience of 3.692 million viewers.

The Five—despite airing outside prime time, which is traditionally when viewership is highest—just slightly outpaced FNC’s Tucker Carlson Tonight (3.621 million viewers), Jesse Watters Primetime (3.1 million viewers), Hannity (3.059 million viewers) and Special Report with Bret Baier (2.672 million viewers)—all on Fox.

Among viewers 25-54, the demographic group most valued by advertisers, Tucker Carlson Tonight finished first overall with an average audience of 615,000 viewers, followed by The Five (548,000 viewers), Jesse Watters Primetime (505,000 viewers), Hannity (504,000 viewers) and Special Report with Bret Baier (449,000 viewers).

There is no First Amendment protection on a private platform like Twitter.

But I have long thought there was much money to be made for anyone that can present a viable alternative.

Elon understands this.
The internet is part of the public airwaves in the US and can be regulated by the FCC in the same way as television. Additionally, most of the major platforms online get government subsidies and/or tax breaks that create a legal basis to make the subject to regulation. Everyone took a hand's off approach because the tech industry convincingly lobbied that in order to create a new industry they needed to be left alone and shielded from civil liability for the statements and actions of their users.

He would be smart to do this. I would love to see it happen.

Who knows what motivates someone worth $200B, but he probably likes the idea of accruing more power.

You clearly have no idea what motivates Elon then. Bezos, Buffet, Gates, absolutely. Musk? not at all. Power does not drive him. The call to immortality does. To create something great, that will sing across the stars for all time. That is what is in his mind.

Elon is also really, deeply an engineer at heart. In so many ways, Tesla (vs Edison) is such a good namesake for him but he is far more successful than Nicolai ever dreamed of.
