That's right. You're not getting the car for 2 weeks and when I come home tonight you better have the grass mowed. Close your mouth son before I slap it shut.

A guy named Lande has ranked top 200 NFL prospects at Sports Illustrated. He has Hunter at no. 36, Patterson at 39, two OL in the 90s, and Bray at...189. He doesn't rank any QBs very highly--it's a weak year for QBs, obviously. Bray should stay and work (hard) on his footwork and pocket presence, mobility and try to develop some leadership skills. If not, he will bust in the NFL--too much like Ainge. It will hard for him regardless, with his lack of mobility and resulting tendency to panic when rushed. He really needs to find a great QB coach and work with him in the off-season--ask his Dad to hire Tedford.

Hunter and Patterson certainly have the potential to be good in the NFL, but IMO it will take each of them at least a couple of years. Hunter needs to get stronger and tougher, while Patterson needs to improve his route-running and become a real wideout and not just a pure athlete playing wideout. Big difference. Receivers have to be smart these days with all the hot reads.

This career in reading people....is it through a TV screen? Do those people usually wear helmets most of the time?

Nope. Does any of that really matter? I can see how he acts just as good thru the tele on the sidelines and on the field. I don't have to be in his personal space to make that judgment. I will give you that he might be a decent person off the field....I am referring specifically to his attitude on the field wearing a UT uniform. I am clearly not the only person who feels this way.

I have to hope that Tyler and his family, and any QB prospects, ignore the ignorance of the UT fan base. We hated Clausen, Ainge, Crompton, and every other QB since Peyton and Tee (and now some vocal minority hate Tee too). Tyler will be fine no matter what he does. The only thing he has to worry about is making sure he gets on with a team that won't trash his career because they're terrible and throw him to the wolves too quickly.

Bray is leaving almost certain. We will see either Worley or Peterman running the show next season.

Seeing both would not surprise me, but I'd say Worley. In the little time he played this year, he looked ready. I think he has better wheels than some realize. After his INT, he was the player who made the tackle.

I agree he needs another year, even with his skill sets, to develop reads, maturity, etc... The crazy thing is, depending on what CBJ wants to run, it might not help him as much as we think unless CBJ changes it up and goes pro style drop back. Will definitely be interesting to see how it plays out.

I think he needs to go. Why risk an injury while trying to learn a new system? He has too much to correct which could hurt his draft stock even more. I think it makes more sense to go pro and sit on the bench a few years while learning an offense and working on his mechanics.
