Bray is going to lose Hunter, Patterson, Rivera, and Dallas Thomas on top of playing a much more difficult schedule next year. His maturity issues aside, people seem to forget that Bray had a great individual season. His stats were excellent in nearly every category. Hell, he broke Manning's single game passing yards record and threw 5 TD's in a still nearly-losing effort. Why would he come back to a new coaching staff, tougher schedule, mostly the same players on defense, and none of his weapons on offense?

Enter the draft this year, get taken somewhere in the late second to mid third by a team that actually has some talent and can afford to coach a QB up for a year or two before giving him a shot at the helm. That's a far better scenario than being a top 10 pick and going to a Cleveland or KC anyway.

He'd be better off carrying a clipboard in the NFL than in Knoxville. At least you get a paycheck there. A year of sitting on the bench tends to hurt your draft status.

Luck was also one of those few guys who was going to be (pretty well) financially set for life regardless of which path he chose to take

90 more points in twelve games is 7.5 points roughly a game. Yes, UT's 2012 defense sucked and cost us more games than Tyler Brat did but it doesn't change the fact The Brat is not someone we want on this campus leading our team. Let him go. We are starting over...........

Bray not being nfl ready is a no brainer. The way he doesn't take care of the ball he will throw more int's than tds.

I believe Bray needs another year too, but i also believe that some of Bray's interceptions were due to the receiver not running properly. Bray had chances to win games in the 4th qtr this past season but either threw interceptions or fumbled.

Bray is not ready yet, maybe a year of winning some games will help his mentality and let him become the QB he is capable of..JMO VFL

Would you rather implement a new offense with an upperclassman QB with experience against SEC defenses or just completely start from scratch and watch an unproven QB go through a trial by fire? I could go either way on Bray staying or leaving but there could be a huge drop off in offense next year with Bray, CP, Hunter, Rodgers, and some of the O line leaving. How much faith are you willing to put in a defense that couldn't keep us in games this year?

Stats dont lie, Bray had one good game against a top SEC opponent in SCjr. He choked against GA. He put up all his yards against cupcake teams, I wouldnt be sad at all to see him leave for the NFL. It is time for someone else to get a chance.
