No I just feel bad for you guys.

How many vol fans do you see on Memphistigers.org or memphisroar.com defending Tennessee? I've checked out the sites and have never seen a Vol fan.

I enjoy opinions from other teams fans, but this same drum continues to get beaten. Martin vs.Pastner and Memphis vs. Tennessee and for whatever reason you select few feel the need to run and defend Pastner. I just don't get it, like I said you don't see Vol fans doing it on the Memphis boards, and there's plenty of Tennessee/Martin bashing going on in those threads.

If Tennessee fans wanna start a thread saying "suck it" Memphis, I don't see why you and your crew feel the need to run and defend Pastner/Memphis.

It was meant I assume basically as a fun hype up thread to talk crap about Memphis and get hype for the game. Once again, don't understand why you all come running like a bunch of cattle at pastners feet.

I'll repeat....Martin and Tennessee get bashed on Memphis boards, but I've yet to see Tennessee fans running over there to defend them, just don't get why you all feel the need to?

Looking for an actual honest and educated response, I know that's asking a lot of you and MC, but maybe you can try.

BTO is right on as he has been all day. Memphis is not even in the Top 100 RPI as of right now. How is Memphis going to even get into the Top 100 RPI wise? Damn thats pitiful. For Memphis if you don't beat Tennessee Friday nite you absolutely don't get in the tourney unless you win Conf USA tourney (which you should with Top 5 talent but won't). I didn't realize Pastner was that bad but he really is!!!!:dance2:

I'm a Vol fan, ftr. I take their presence as a compliment. We're good enough to warrant their attention.

Plus, they may enjoy your analysis of basketball over bleedingUMblue's.

Coach Martin shouldn't start Stokes for the Memphis game in my opinion. He hasn't shown anything to me. Yemi and Reese should get their shot. Coach Martin needs to make Stokes earn his spot and by not starting him would wake him up pretty quick against his hometown

BTO i'm okay with friendly banter, but i never attack the citizens of Knoxville with unnecessary remarks (I could but I don't). I was okay with this thread until the typical "Memphis thugs" & "cesspool" comments emerged. Whats the point of negativity attacking a city you want to recruit, what is there to gain? Per this board Memphis kids are thugs, yet posters are constantly asking you of the Vol's chances in landing a Memphis recruit. Once Nichols committed to Memphis it didn't take but a couple of minutes for posters to call him a thug.

Not really. Without Maymon who is unquestionably our best player he is doubled and even tripled....now that's difficult for anybody....we want to slam on him but he's trying to do things he's not built for...with Maymon whole different story!!!!

I've read on those board but Never posted and I've NEVER seen a Vol poster there. Not saying one has never posted but its certainly not a normal occurrence like here. I think that's stating the obvious .

Well fwiw I didn't make any of those comments. As far as Nichols, he's a great kid and will represent any school with class. While I would've loved for him to come to Tennessee, I'm glade got the commitment over, it was really weighing on him.

It's just like the Kentucky comments, we refer to them as inbred and what not, the name calling always happens.

Kentucky fans not residents, especially ones from somerset lol. And I wasn't necessarily saying its something I do, just that's what the fan bases do, you know that.
