Message From Libya

At what point should the world step in and physically remove him? I don't feel good about letting a guy who bombs his own civilians keep lashing out like a wounded animal like this.
Never. Let the Arab world deal with their problems. Every time the "World" (aka, America and some NATO forces) steps in, the focus is diverted and America is made into the common enemy.

So smoke him dude. You seem to have the biggest boner for him. My Hate is not that strong. Let it go and waste this POS. You can do it, I have seen your ecred. You can do it bro. Waste this Muslim, socialist tyrant. You have it in you. Channel that hate and focus. You dont have a hair on your ass if you dont.

Reading you and Jtrain is like watching two guys ride a tandem unicycle.

Don't know how many times I've specifically broken down my criticism into just portions of the TP, or included mixed-motive for much of it.

But a number of Vols posters insist that every single Muslim celebrated 9/11. Its freakin' scary how simple minded come folks on here are.

My wife worked at Opry hotel at the time of 911 . She told me that at lunch while watching tv that all the muslems cheered at the news. All muslems? maby not but these did.

Is there a corresponding cartoon for this?

On such short notice, how about this??

That picture has absolutely nothing to do with me or a unicycle. I could try to come up with some convoluted explanation but it would take too long.

BTW - I'm an avid bicyclist and I put in around 4,000 miles/year. Last year when I lived in the city, I rode to work nearly every day. I got around 5,500 miles in last year.

How many miles do you put in on your wheel chair or walker?

How long do you guesstimate it will be before
you can take off the training wheels??

But you're not an avid unicyclist.

We're damned if we do damned if we don't in the Arab world. Egypt didn't like how long BO waited to tell Mubarak to leave, yet if we would have jumped in board day one they would tell us to stay out of their affairs.

If it is highly uncertain how we will be received, then we might as well not send our troops into harms way. I would rather the people of Egypt, Libya, Tunisia, Yemen, etc., etc., ad nauseum, gripe about our lack of help than have more funerals over here Servicemembers who gave their lives for a vain* cause.

*vain: (adj.) marked by futility

He has. Spent some days at USMA as well.

You know as well as I do that if the US wanted this guy dead he would be dead. WE do not assassinate people because of a law we obey but it would be done in 24 hours if wanted. Maybe not our guys but a well paid soldier of his would do it.

Can't just casually cruise around assassinating heads of state. Law of inintended consequences has proven disastrous for our actions approaching that level.

You must have missed that whole discussion from 2001-PRESENT regarding our lack of both CIA agents and reliable government sources on the ground in the Arab world.

Putting a hit on a foreign head of state is not as easy as ordering a pizza. Everyone in that information chain must be vetted for both competence and loyalty to us. If something like that is compromised and surfaces, its a pretty bad day for anyone involved in US Foreign Policy.

In light of the WikiLeaks debacle, I have a feeling we are completely avoiding that road for a while.

Israel still seems to be quite capable of pulling this off.

Which foreign head of state did Mossad assassinate?

Also, I imagine that Israel's foreign policy interests and desired perceptions are much different than ours? I could be wrong about this, though...
