Michael Dyer - now Louisville bound (merged)

What's your opinion of the possibility that Dyer is a Vol?

Lol how do those numbers alone not impress you?

I guess I was just spoiled by having the pleasure of watching growing up with Cobb, Webb, Henry, Thompson, Stewart, Gardner, Hayden, Walker (GA), Jackson (AU) Bryson, Foster, Stephens, Lewis, and Stanback.

Just to name a few I know I missed a few. Curt Watson for example.

Look at the Arkansas vs Auburn game 2011. We need a back that is quick to the corners and has great field vision. I don't know that he really has either. I am seeing a lot of down on first contact which bothers me maybe I am looking at just the wrong film.

Was just informed by a lifelong friend of mine who works at 247 that Dyer has chosen and been granted a transfer to UT. I'm unsure as to how he came across this information or of its legitimacy. But just figured I'd let y'all know of the rumors round the 247 neighborhood.

If true, what are your thoughts?

How accurate has this person been in the past?

Is your friend credible? If he's a lifelong friend, you must trust him, right?

He will help us win games that's the bottom line..... someone will give him a chance hope it's us. I remember when I was 18 wild and hard headed. He deserves another chance...

no thanks - don't need anymore pellet gun incidents at the Pilot in K-town.

Perfect explanation but I give up man. These guys will never admit they are dead wrong. I'm out of this discussion and headed to Academy Sports to send the entire Alabama OL some gear. Then I'm going to confess to the NCAA I bought a ticket at Bryant-Denny. In the infamous spoken at Ali-Frazier (modifed) "Down goes Saban".

Do it!

The way I see it: he has 2 years of eligibility left and is an extremely talented player. If he comes this would be the best year because we have no proven offensive weapons. He will get good playing time behind a very very solid line and likely get his shot at the NFL. If he messes up he is gone again, I don't believe he will effect team cohesiveness in a dramatic way. I think it ha tremendous upside with minimal risk.
