It's far more winnable than most think. They have about as much offensively as we do. If we can steal one on special teams or through a trick play, we can win that....or if we just bring in Dyer.

I imagine Dyer has better grades than many of our current players. He has been doing very well academically by all accounts.

Shouldn't be necessary imo. Butch could make him undergo weekly drug screens as well as a one and done policy. Those two things should make him see the light of day that if he screws up one more time, his NFL dream is gone.

I would give him a curfew on top of the drug tests.

I think we take the hit if he does not finish school and graduate. His GPA at the time he would leave does not matter if he does not finish school.

He may graduate while leaving this year. Do we know how many credits he has? He's been out of the game long enough.

Would be awesome, but not getting my hopes up. Not enough chatter for this to be real, IMO.

Here is what I have learned by following this board and by listening to sports radio: The more chatter a topic like this gets, the less likely it is to be true. In fact, when it comes to pure speculation the best advice would be to take anything mentioned here or by callers on radio talk shows, and throw that option out as absurd. Whatever options are left, however improbable, are far more likely to be true. In my experience, it is a good sign when few people are talking about it.
