Think so? Im pretty sure people are advised of deformaties and other ailments while fetus' are in the womb. I see it as no difference unless homosexuality is not considered a flaw.
I dont either but I can see why some would.
I dont either but I can see why some would.
That's not the same thing, again you people keep dragging this down to JUST his sexuality.
Is Michael Sam doing a guy while you are in the room? Is he watching gay porn while beside you in class? Is Michael Sam stripping in front of you and making racy remarks toward you?
Why is it awkward for somebody who is gay to just be hanging out around anyone?
I dont remember liking them when I was real young either.....what about people that choose to have sex with both men and women?
I know exactly which recent ruling you are talking about, and it does not at all say what you claim it says.
I disagree with the ruling, because it is open to abuse. But it does not say that anyone can use any facility.
What does this mean? How is it not similar?
Just like it is in California, when a guy is showering in a girl's locker room, it could be awkward for the girl to be naked in front of someone who may find them attractive (or unattractive). It's not awkward to hang around someone who is gay, but it is awkward for a man to get a shower with someone that is aroused by naked men.
Yes it does say that. Any student, on their word alone, can use any facility that they would like to use. They can also play any sport they would like, men's or women's, regardless of their sex
I would have no problem being in the same locker room with another gay man, if that's what he is asking. As long as he's not touching or leering, as with any other man or woman that I was in the bathroom/locker room with, it's not an issue.
No it does not.
The student has to be transgendered. Again, there is a lot of room for abuse, and the ruling is going to get a lot of attention from the higher courts, if not the state legislature. But it does not say that any guy can just tell a teacher that he wants to shower with the girls.
Why? If he's not looking at you or anybody else, then what does it matter?
This is inaccurate. The student does not have to be transgendered, and only has to claim to identify as whichever sex they choose. It does say that any guy can play any sport and use any facility they want, as long as they claim to identify as the other sex. They do not have to be transgendered.
For the same reason that males and females use different restrooms. If a straight guy is in a room of naked women, it is impossible for most men not to look, much less start fantasizing about them. That's why it's called attraction, because there is something pulling you. Yes, it is awkward knowing that a guy is going to be checking out the other guys in the shower because he is attracted to guys.
That is pretty much the definition of being transgendered: identifying as a sex other than the one you were assigned (born with/as).
