One of the main reasons is that Cal and Geno are tight. We all know what Calhoun and John think of each other.

quite the opposite. MD is one of the most intelligent people I've ever met. I grew up spending summers at his house ( his late ex wife was my aunt) and Mickey is off the charts intelligent. The only problem is he knows it and that ultimately ALWAY causes him to come off as a.....well, you can insert adjective here. His sons passing last year tempered his "edge" for a while, but he now seems to be at an alltime full does of "dearstone". Cut the guy some slack, he's suffered more heartache in the last 3 years than most of us suffer in a lifetime.

If everyone would quit listening to the Lady Vols Digest show that Dearstone, Jacoby and Heather Harris put on every morning on the Sports Animal, maybe they would come up with a new crew and a different show. They are all a joke when it comes to knowledge of sports....

thanks...you're actually in the minority for VOLNATION posters. most of these people cant stand me and think im a disgrace to VOL fans. i dont get it myself. All i do is voice my honest feelings and thoughts on our GREAT university, but somehow that makes me a disgrace...thanks again....GO VOLS

Dearstone gems this am, speaking on Ainge / drugs:

1. That's the misnomer - drugs don't affect your motor skills.....unless you overdo it

2. Doctors should not be allowed to just stop giving people drugs when they know they've become addictive.

I didn't hear her say it so I don't know the exact context. It was supposedly a caller saying her pay was ridiculous and then Heather saying she's the biggest celebrity on campus and/or most important. If that's how it went down, then I stand behind what I said.

There's no way you justify paying her that when the program loses the way it does.

if she said most important then I agree it was stupid. However she is well-known around the country and very popular in TN.

I agree. The context and exact quote I'd kinda like to hear. Maybe someone who heard it will chime in, because I'm certainly not wasting my time to go back and listen to it.
