You underestimate the opponent. They'll introduce new voting methods to tip the scales in their favor.

This tactic from the left is pretty interesting as we head into the midterms

"Vote for us or democracy in America is over"


But if our democracy truly only provides our society with 1 option when voting, then we don't have a democracy, we have a 1 party state masquerading as a democracy.

Technically are a constitutional republic. But that’s not the point.


“Vote for us, and continue voting for us, or lose your democracy” just doesn’t make sense.

I think the more telling thing in your short exchange with Dink is that you don't have a problem with your sort of propaganda. I had the same experience with Evangelicals as Dink, but in West TN late 90s-early 2000s. My biology teacher refused to talk about evolution.

I'm still at the same prediction I was earlier in thread. I think we end up +20R in the House (final total +20, so they will pick up about thirty seats total). But I think the Senate stays 50-50.

Republicans will win the House but narrowly lose the Senate in a 50/50 tie broken by Harris. Warnock will lose in a squeaker and Fetterman will win in a close race. The rest of the races are hyped up to drive up interest but will remain in their current party’s hands unless there is an actual Red Tsunami which I highly doubt. Americans are too partisan and large urban areas are too corrupt

House goes R. They spend the next two years circle jerking pointless investigations. Dems retake the House in 2024.
