Exactly. Practice habits could be terrible, film study could be bad. This whole MM thing reeks of drama queen attitude which would lead me to believe he doesn't put the work in. That would explain why he could not get on the field this year

No team has won a natty in the modern era with less than a 50% blue chip ratio. Talent recognition matters. There's far more zero stars who are actually zero stars than there are cam wards.

I said NIL and the portal was going to be college football’s downfall. It’s here. I’m sure I’m not the only fan that is starting to get tired of this nonsense. Each year a different team with different players will not build fan loyalty. For the players, it has become all about the money and zero loyalty to the coaches, school and fans. I believe you are got to see fan apathy set in as it has with me already. JMO.

Richt is a stand up guy who revived a crappy UGA program. He never got over the hump, but got UGA back into relevancy and set Smart up for instant success. Smart and the UGA fanbase love him for what he did for their program.

He also won a couple of conference championships. Right now I'd love for CJH to be Mark Richt.

If we were doing well with the portal, we wouldn't care. See baseball and basketball. It's not the portal and NIL. It's the fact the university spent the last 2 years bragging about our NIL game instead of keeping it bleeding edge. It's the fact our donors would rather spend money building an entertainment district than putting that money to win championships. Just win.

We paid too much for Nico and it’s caused a disturbance would be my guess. Nico is gonna be great for us, but these are all young people who probably aren’t mature enough to handle big money and watch someone else get paid.

I said this when the $8 million thing leaked out. It is bound to cause some resentment and everybody thinking they’re the next HOF player but not getting paid what somebody else is. Work ethic, earning reps, all that takes a backseat to the $$$.
You look at Beck driving a Lambo all around Athens and having all he has. Their backup has an old F150 and he’s just an everyday guy. But he waited his turn and kept his nose to the wheel and now he is gonna have his shot in the CFP.
He probably has his head on straight, which is why his perspective is more mature than some of the ones who left a playoff team for who knows what.

Which WR that we lost is a big loss? Weakest link of the offense seems to be getting a cleanse but we have fans upset they are leaving.
