How about since it is our country, we set the immigration rules - quotas and qualifications; and immigrants accept the rules? Is that too novel an idea? It's our right to accept or not accept immigrants as we choose, and not the right of those who want to come here to do so as they please. On Tuesday’s broadcast of CNN’s “OutFront,” Democratic strategist James Carville reacted to the rift between New York City Mayor Eric Adams (D) and President Joe Biden over immigration by stating that leaders in Congress, including Senate Majority Leader Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY) and House Minority Leader Rep. Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY), “could’ve cut this off” and wondered, “the White House and its intergovernmental relations office, what the hell are they doing?”

Carville said, “[T]he Leader of the Democrats in the Senate is Sen. Schumer, who’s from New York. Hakeem Jeffries, the Leader of the Democrats in the House, is from New York. And it’s not like — somebody’s got to get to somebody else and they got to figure this out and explain what’s going on. Of course, at the end of the day, it’s about resources. When is it not about resources? But, the White House and its intergovernmental relations office, what the hell are they doing? They have a congressional relations office. Illegal Alien, Charged with Raping Teen Girl, Released into U.S. by Biden’s DHS

An illegal alien is accused of raping a teenage girl in Prattville, Alabama, after having been released into the United States at the southern border by President Joe Biden’s Department of Homeland Security (DHS).

Grevi Geovani Rivera Zavala, a 29-year-old illegal alien from Honduras, was arrested and charged with the first-degree rape of a teenage girl late last week.

According to WFSA 12 News, Zavala allegedly raped the girl in the women’s restroom of a restaurant. Police allege that the illegal alien forced the girl into a bathroom stall, held her down, and raped her in a completely random attack.

“This rape never should have happened,” Autauga County District Attorney CJ Robinson told local media of the incident, noting that Zavala was an illegal alien who first arrived at the southern border in November 2021 using a fake name.

Despite having a criminal record in Honduras, Zavala was apprehended, processed, and quickly released into the U.S. interior by Biden’s DHS — ending up in Prattville, Alabama, to work in the local construction industry, illegally.

“We’re not interested in negotiating with the feds,” Robinson said of keeping Zavala in local custody. “They can take custody of his body when [Department of Corrections] is done with him. We aren’t going to negotiate for a lesser charge so the feds can deport him.”

I think I'll bow out of this one. Having rules is great, until no one follows them. Our government has reached the level of ineptitude that it cannot fix what is broken. As long as there is an in bed together two party system things will not get better. Luckily for the vast majority in this thread, illegal immigration will not affect you. Adios.

8-Year-Old Migrant Girl Dies in Biden Admin Custody — 2nd Child Death this Month

An eight-year-old migrant girl suffered a “medical emergency” and died at a U.S. Border Patrol facility in Texas. This is the second death of a migrant child while in the Biden administration’s custody this month.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection officials announced on Wednesday that an eight-year-old girl suffered what is described as a “medical emergency” while in Border Patrol custody with her family in Harlingen, Texas. Border Patrol officials called an ambulance which transported her to a local hospital where she was pronounced dead, according to a written statement released by CBP on May 17.

This is the second death of a migrant child in the custody of the Biden administration in one week. On May 10, a 17-year-old Honduran boy died in his sleep while in the custody of a U.S. Department of Health and Human Services facility in Safety Harbor, Florida, Breitbart Texas reported.

ICE Vows to ‘Maintain Peace’ Through Special Security Measures After Threat from Left-Wing Rioters

United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) said in a statement to The Tennessee Star on Wednesday that it is committed to maintaining peace ahead of August’s special session of the Tennessee General Assembly after far-Left agitators said they plan to wreak havoc at ICE’s Nashville office.

Last week, The Star reported that Left-wing activists plan to protest outside ICE and that one of their tactics is to disable ICE vehicles.

During an activist training session on May 13, hosted in Nashville by Tennessee Advocates for Planned Parenthood, Left-wing agitators laid out their plans for August’s special session.

The Star obtained secretly recorded audio of the event.

“I think there’s increased risk with it being a federal building and beholden to federal laws on federal property,” one agitator said when discussing the likelihood of getting arrested while protesting ICE. “I also think there’s significant risk to any undocumented folks who would want to be a part of that action. I also think that, you know, if we are disabling vehicles, I think there’s a way to do it without being caught – and I’m a strong proponent of ‘it’s only illegal if you get caught’ – but it would be property damage at the minimum, and I do think that with further planning there would be ways to make this a safer action.”

The United States has spent $13 billion sponsoring unaccompanied minors at the border since 2012, a new report based on Health and Human Services data reveals.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection recorded more than 150,000 unaccompanied minor encounters at the southwest border in 2022 alone, a record high. The U.S. spent $2.1 billion sponsoring unaccompanied minors last year. The figure averages approximately $18,000 per minor encounter at the border, according to analysis by OpenTheBooks.com.

But despite the money spent sponsoring unaccompanied minors at the border, some reports indicate that as many as 85,000 unaccompanied minors are missing and unaccounted for by the federal government.
