Kansas City says it WANTS Migrants to MOVE THERE with $15,000 'Choose Topeka' Campaign to Lure Border Crossers to the Dem-led city to fill 7,000 open jobs
A small American city is so desperate for workers it doesn't just want migrants to move there - it will pay them $15,000 to come.
Cities like New York, Chicago, and Denver are struggling to care for 100,000 migrants bussed in from Texas as up to 10,000 cross from Mexico every day.
But Topeka, the capital of Kansas, wishes a few of those buses would come its way to join its growing Hispanic community that makes up 17 per cent of the population.
The city has an unemployment rate of just 2.9 per cent, compared to the national 3.7, and 7,000 open jobs it can't fill from the ranks of its about 175,000 locals.
