They’ve sent us a survey for next school year asking these questions. Basically what would it take to send your kid to school. Masks for teachers, masks for students, alternating weeks (home vs. in school learning), etc. It’s 100% in the works.

What qualifies as a religion? There is a whole can worms here. We could literally be talking about 100s beliefs here.

Better to just leave it to home life and parents to handle the faith part IMO.

School system where l leave (N Alabama) is allowing registration for online only schooling. They are actually recommending it for a semester to see how it works.

My kid is going into school.

1. I work and can’t do this.
2. I largely think this COVID stuff is nonsense anyway.

With that blase attitude I hope you've been protesting. The virus will know come August who's parents supported BLM and who's didn't.

We got a survey also. We arent sending ours back if masks are required. There is only so much stupidity we can tolerate.

So if you put religion in public schools when will teachers get to cover the 3 R’s as there are so many religions you would have to include in the curriculum. You can’t just include your own favorite one.

We're already teaching islam. Lets do it the way it was before 60s. Lets just try it with our elementary school for 4 years, it cant get any worse

Ummm. No it doesn’t. It gets a complete lesson plan with role playing as a jihadist and reciting the words of allegiance to Islam included. Parents on Facebook have been rightfully bent out of shape and posting actual curriculum worksheets their kids are bringing home for quite a while now.

That sounds great in theory but religion is pervasive so many subjects (sex, science, government, - religion wouldn’t be exclusive to Christianity) that it’s virtually impossible to completely exclude religion. The religion taught in most public school systems today is humanism/agnostics

Will God punish you for lying? In the US, there are no tens of millions of babies aborted each year. The data for 2017, which is the last year reported, is less than a million.
