Minneapolis wants to disband police

Ok, so one indoctrination says there are no wrongs or right and they are no different than a pig or monkey. Then there is another indoctrination that says killing, stealing, hurting others is wrong but there is hope and they are more than animals.

So if the kids are going to be indoctrinated either way, lets indoctrinate them on the side that causes less crime and more respect.
So you think public elementary schools are currently teaching that there are no wrongs or rights and that a kid is no different than a pig or monkey???
Maybe it's the adult "education" we are receiving outside of schools that should be looked into.

If you really want to lower crime, allow elementary schools to have Bible lessons. Teach right and wrong, teach biblical faith. Tell these kids they are more than some evolutionary random act.
No, much like education in general it falls on the parents at home. They alone have the power.

They're teaching a post modern philosophy where there are no objective truthes, we are just primordial results. This philosophy os taugjt in colleges too.

What do we have to lose?

That's gonna go over well. Their policy of "Dead or alive, you're coming with me!" will definitely win the hearts and minds of the community.

I agree, but society has condemned the natural family as being bad and that husbands and dad are not needed. The states fills that void

They are a communist organization. They arent even a legitimate point for discussing any of our social ills. Once the conversation goes to them, you are dealing with a racist.

A lot of the politicians and the city leaders of the big cities are bowing down to their demands. They don't want the appearance of being racists and don't want any kind of trouble from them ...... like burning & looting their cities because they (BLM) don't get their way.
They are scared to death of the backlash that will come if they don't bow down to their demands. The Democratic leaders have become weak-minded & will cave to the demands.

It is disgusting. These cities will see people fleeing. Tax receipts declining. Downward spiral.

Like I said earlier, one of the classic blunders.

He admitted to a problem that doesn't exist and therefore has no solution. He can go along with defunding the police and make things worse, or he can come across as a politician who sees the problem but chooses not to address it with the proper scope. In that case, he doesn't think #blacklivesmatter.

Tough choice. Maybe he will go with option C and talk about kids playing with his leg hair.

After reading that article there is not one concrete detail given by those interviewed of how this will work, why it will work and who will do the work, only that this is what we’re going to do. People are playing a dangerous game here. I’m concerned that this will have much further reaching affects than just Minneapolis.

It's called throwing it against the wall to see what sticks policy. Can you imagine if a company operated like this after some struggles? Update your resume.

No society hasn't, people have made the choice to put chasing wealth and stuff ahead of the family unit.

There is always a choice.

Society has always been very materialistic, but this last generation has made social re-engineering a priority

Some communities put short term goals about everything else. That explains why almost 80% of NFL players are bankrupt a few years after their playing days are over.

(only 0.2% of the US population as whole filed bankruptcy in 2019..individuals not businesses)
