Missouri coming to the East Division

Well, my last post in this thread, but at least I admit that my team sucks. I just don't get the delusion and arrogance of fans who think that dominance over a crappy team for 26 years is something to crow about. Congrats- you've beaten a cupcake 26 years in a row. Most of those years, you SHOULD have beaten them.

Why are you even talking Kentucky football on a Tennessee forum? Seems you already know the answer to any question or comment concerning the 2 teams. :eek:lol:

Why are you here? D you need some Vol to show you how to start a gator nation? You DO know Tenn and fla hate each other... right?

Do you just wake up and say "I'm gonna be a ass today"?

As for Missouri, I'm cool with it too. They are a good team, but not a great team.

Yep, ESPN is reporting it as well, along with quote

Apparently a press conference and celebration is set for this afternoon in Columbia, MO

Andy Katz notes though that if the wvu big east suit doesn't sort itself out, the big 12 might try to push litigation to keep the tigers from leaving for another season

I imagine it's coming soon but I'm not sure I fully buy it happening just yet

There's still alot of outside variables that need to be taken care of or solve themselves first - the big east invites and the presumed (if Boise is coming for football) finalization of an agreement to create divisions, the ruling regarding the WVU v the big east case (more than likely they're going to allow wvu to leave, just with a much heightened fee), among others

I think it's coming soon, but since their buyout amount (and several possible legal matters) relate to a whole lot of other things coming to completion....just dont feel all that confident it happens quite yet (I think mainly the court case has to be settled first)

wonder what divison Missouri is going to be in

Pretty much settled they're going to be an east team...travel distances for them don't change dramatically on either side (but they're very close to UK, vandy, and UT)

Waiting on the announcement that they are added to the East. This hasn't been officially announced yet. It seems like it will happen but no matter how you rationalize it, Missouri going to the Eastern Division really makes no sense geographically or logistically. It would be good for Tennessee, so I won't complain.

Alabama wouldn't have been convinced to vote on it otherwise...this is likely a move that wouldn't have happened without across the board agreement
