Affliction is officially screwed now. Josh Barnett failed a drug test and his fight with Fedor is likely off. They are saying the replacement opponent will be Vitor Belfort or Bobby Lashley.

I hope they have alot of money the only way Lashley takes this fight is that; he knows he's not ready,As much as I like Bobby,this isn't Lesnar guys

From what Lashley is saying, it will not be him. He doesn't want to have an image of just fighting for the money and doesn't feel he has the time to prepare. Who knows, they could put a price out there he would be an idiot not to take.

Where did you read this Joe?do you have a link ?Bobby is a personal favorite and I've not seen anything but I'm glad to hear what I personally thought he can have a long career in MMA if he's handled properly and he's not ready for top tier MMA competition.

Vitor Belfort - Was a bust in MMA
Bobby Lashley - Needs more fights under his belt.

Maybe they get Tim Sylvia to fight Fedor again?

I wouldn't label him a bust. Also, it looks as if Belfort will face Fedor on August 1st. It's not official, but it looks as if Belfort will be the guy.

It was on a wrestling website i look at. pwtorch.com. I don't know how to do all the links and things. It is there because he just signed a contract with TNA.

And now Affliction is no more and is going back to sponsoring the UFC. Crazy week! I only hope that Fedor signs on for a mega fight with Brock now.

Anybody else enjoy the WEC? Their fighters may not be as good as UFC's but they seem to have better fights.

Brock doesn't want to fight Fedor right now. He wants to get some more experience before fighting him. He was on the Jim Rome radio show talking about it.

That isn't what I got from it ,He wants to make some more money$$(and if Dana signs Fedor he'll wanna little mileage out of him too) Where does he go if he smears him ? here's the interview in it's entirety the Fedor question is around the 11-12 min mark

As much as I like Tito his best days are behind him ''Mark Coleman?"what's this gonna be a warm up match before the real fights?Tito would be well served to find him a Bobby Lashley and teach him his game he'd be alot better coach now he's worn out.

I don't think it's a money issue Nick it's the opportunity to get M-1 in the mix and share a card with whomever and make them a player in the MMA world, Dana isn't gonna do it ,but Strikeforce has nothing to lose by doing it,so if that's what's holding him up this may get done.


Just Imagine; Fedor against Brett Rogers I'd watch it:good!:

I'm in agreement with Kevin Lole if Fedor was and thinks he's the best in the world he would have got this done



Now I can guarantee you he will fall in the rankings,he's just what I thought he was...... overrated, he's been offered more money than he's ever made,would have been allowed to fight in sambo,but his manager wants half ownership in a UFC promotion.....pleeez


And before anyone sez well he beat Arlovski,Nog,Sylvia,Hunt,Coleman guess what not a damn one of them want anything to do with that corn fed beast from Minnesota
