I didn't get to watch the fight but two of my favorite fighters, Penn and Mir won so I am happy. I heard both looked good. I bet the Florian Guida fight was non stop too.

Damn, I heard Sanchez got owned by BJ Penn last night.

Not exactly happy the one of my fighters, Cheick Kongo, got choked out by Mir. I hate Frank Mir.

In the fifth round Penn connected with more punches that rocked him, including a high kick caused a deep cut on the forehead of Sanchez that began to bleed profusely. Herb Dean called for doctor's advice due to the severity of the cut, with the fight ending by doctor stoppage at 2:37 by TKO, making this the first time that Sanchez has been stopped in a fight. Later in the post-fight press conference, UFC President Dana White was quoted saying Sanchez was "About as busted up as I've ever seen a guy." [8]

he looked like hell after that fight, Penn did perm demage to his face with that gash, plus his lip was really mashed and a black eye. He took a horrible beating that whole fight. That should have stopped that fight after the first minute when Sanchez went down, really out. If it hadnt been a title fight they probably would have.

Broke nose, torn lip, black eye, huge gash over his eye. It was as bad as any UFC fight as far as someone getting a beating.

I saw part of the fight on a web stream.. I assume it was an elbow to the forehead... still can't believe sanchez got it that bad... he is an explosive fighter, but penn isn't called the prodigy for nothing..

It was a kick to the head. the only one Penn threw that fight.

I broke down and bought it...

Overall it was a pretty terrible idea. Ivel should have neever been stopped. He was absolutely still moving around trying to defend himself...these guys with as many fights as him have earned the right to have a bit more time before they get stopped...I am sure it wasn't the first time he was rocked like that...oh well...

Paul Daley looks to be the real deal. Howver anyone with a good take down will nullify his powerful hands...Hazlett was overmatched from the opening bell and it showed...

Sam Stout looked fantastic. I am a huge fan of anyone who walks to the ring to Eminem.

Rashad's fight was boring as usual and he was lucky as hell he didn't get knocked out in the 3rd round...If Rampage can defense from being taken down he will catch Rashad and knock him out...I am very confident in saying that...

Dos Santos looks to be the real deal. I think Mir will beat Carwin and set up a fantastic match up between him and Junior. Looking forward to Mir-Carwin.

The next 2 UFC's look to be as garbage as 108. We'll see.

UFC 111 will be nasty. Mir/Carwin and GSP/Hardy should be good...
