'24 MO DL Williams Nwaneri (Mizzou commit)

ON3 has a 80% chance of him going to Oklahoma.

Seems like they’re not giving us much of a chance as usual.

Looking at his film, we havent gotten someone like this in a long time. prototypical size and athleticism. Hopefully we get em

This is why he is my #1 want for this class. Nwaneri along with some others could make this DL terrifying. Like you said, we don’t get guys like this very often. Nwaneri is the type of player UGA or Bama usually gets and turns them into first round picks.

Nwaneri is about as close to a NFL first round lock as anyone on our board. He has elite traits and good size. He is explosive in the trenches. We should just send the NIL Brinks truck to his house. He’s worth it. He should be your #1 want in this class. Matthews is also an amazing talent, but Heup could turn my grandma into a 1000 yard receiver in this O. Nwaneri is a difference maker at more valuable position.

We’re in a good place for him now. His OV here should solidify what I’m hearing.
You’re not “hearing” anything. You’re relaying what you’ve read on the pay sites (nothing wrong with that).

And we continue to recruit better quality db’s, the defense will be stifling

I don’t pay that much attention to their recruiting predictions. I know they didn’t have Fountain going to USC and I don’t know if they had Brown going to Clemson.

To me, they’re no different than any other recruiting service.

They just assume Bama and all the other big dogs will get every high profile recruit.

How are your grandma's hands, and is she willing to sacrifice her body to be a strong blocker on the perimeter?

Good point.. it feels like even the VQ guys talk down the accuracy of the On3 RPM
The on3 RPM is a joke. As nice as that site is, that aspect is one area they have really let soil their reputation for accuracy. It really needs to be tweaked or retired. It is almost always woefully outdated.

Kirby sucks. Dabo sucks. Bowden sucks. Saban sucks. Meyer sucks. Richt sucks. If it ain’t UT Orange, who cares

Lol, it's sad some see it that way. It's mostly Bammers I've seen with this mentality. I love the Vols and always will. But I can appreciate a good product on the field and watching other teams play. I dislike Ohio St, but love to watch them play. I just love watching great players play great football. When the Vols aren't on, I definitely love to watch other good teams even if I don't like them. I appreciate good football. I'd say 75% of fans from any team would say the same. The you have the Karen's of college football, like lots of Bammers who think it's Alabama and only Alabama. Sad, Sad!

You might wanna change your profile pic from Vols, b*tch to good football teams, b*tch.

Not typically a Karen just get tired of coming into the recruiting forum and seeing people go back and forth arguing about Dabo vs. Kirby and who the better closer is. I don’t really enjoy seeing either of them have success but maybe I’m the weird one

OK is the leader for 5 star David Stone and is visiting them the weekend Nwaneri is here.

Nigel Smith (Top 100 DL) been CB’d to OK

Another DL (Top 100) also has been CB’d OK (Joseph Ajonye)

Their June 16th weekend seems to be their “big” weekend.
- Stone (DL) 5*
- McKinley (DL) 5*
- Ajonye (DL) 4*
- Smith (DL) 4*
- Zina (Edge) 4*

Hopefully they all commit to OK and that’s helps a little more. :)

Some pod recently pointed out that both UT and OK were having their “big recruiting weekend” the 16th and both schools were fighting to have Nwarneri on campus that weekend - and he chose us. Foreshadowing IMO.

Shows how much I pay attention

Yea I posted about it a week or so ago. And I believe I linked the particular podcast on here as well

Joseph is fonged to UGA

Nwaneri had a great visit to OU. His coach at Lee’s Summit North is an OU guy. A top 100 teammate from last season is at OU now. Norman is much closer than Knoxville. They have a lot of momentum.

Also, uga has ‘stepped up’ again in their recruitment of Nwaneri. Think they are missing on an instate guy so they’re putting more juice here. They’ve had some recent success with DL to the NFL, but they don’t offer upfront NIL.

Drinkwitz is gonna pony up some big time NIL to try and lure him to Mizzou.

But, Nwaneri is coming to our big weekend. Garner and Heup are gonna pour it on with playing time and NIL. Gotta show him how he’ll flourish in our D. I like our chances. I think there is a special relationship with UT. If we can wash the OU visit high off him, a silent commitment next weekend isn’t out of the question. I think he likes UT that much.

No matter what happens, all the teams are gonna keep recruiting him til the ink is on the paper. Money is gonna be thrown at this kid and lots of promises from different schools and people. We need to continue to be that steady voice through it all.

Apparently the OU staff had WN connect with terry abt how much of a family atmosphere OU is. Our Counter punch should be they’re so bad at developing DL talent their best DL on OU was a rotational piece on our DL who didn’t start, but 7 games. Also his coach was teammates with Heupel so his coach being a OU guy is a wash

We had better not get out bid by OU or freaking Missouri.
