Mosley hurt Mayweather in the 2nd, but that was it. The rest of the fight was boring, Mayweather on points.

i watched the 24/7 episode and they showed them both getting tested. nothing to it really other then not knowing when they will come. i dont understand Pac's resistance.

i can see why the ufc is gaining on boxing, boring fight. no action other then the 2nd.

Well hopefully they can make a compromise or something bc if they don't then Mayweather will be known as a dodger and pacman will be a dirty fighter.

I don't see how he could be a dodger when he just dominated one of the top 3 P4P fighters today. I do understand that Pac is better than Mosley right now, but i don't see why he can't just take the test.

I personally don't think he's a dodger either, but i bet by tmrw morning the papers will say he dominated an older fighter and leave out the part about being top 3 p4p.

Yeah good point. I'm a big Mayweather fan, and I think the guy gets a bad rap for the people he has fought. I doesn't matter who he dominates, there is always someone else that people think would give him a better fight. If he fights and dominates Pac like everyone else, there isn't anymore they can say about dodging IMO.

Well you can celebrate this win for a couple months til the Mayweather-Pacquiao talks really start off.:good!:

I guess i'm in the minority that prefers fights going the distance. And i don't think ufc will be at the level boxing is at any time soon.
I disagree. Boxing has lost an entire generation of boxing fans because you have to go out of your way to see the top boxers fight. I can remember you could see fights on ABC's wide World of Sports. As a matter of fact, when Ray "Boom Boom" Mancini beat to death that Korean (Duk Koo Kim I believe), I watched that on a CBS broadcast.

True but i still think Dana White will need to dish out some more $$$ before it gets up there. But of course thats only my opinion.

Man, thank God for Floyd.

He made me some nice scratch tonight. Was gettin kinda worried this week, with all the haters around town.

It was too late for me, had too much on him.

Toasting one to Floyd, and to all my VolNation boys who took Floyd as well.

I already talked about how great I think Floyd is in this thread but he gets some of the dodger accusations bc he could have fought Shane 3 different times over the past 3 or so years. First time he "retired" and the second time he took the pathetic JMM fight instead. This time, after the Pac fight fell through, he had backed himself in a corner with the drug talk and had no real option but to fight Shane when he said he'd do it.

Havent "bought" a boxing event on PPV for over a year. With that said, I will pay for just about every single UFC PPV that comes around.

What I don't understand about why Pac won't fight is that he says the blood test so soon to the fight would make him weaker. Pardon me, but to test for banned substances they only need a little blood, not a pint or two. Sounds like a really lame excuse to me. Money would have to do the same thing, so it isn't like only Pac is having to give some blood. Pac argues that since Money is bigger it wouldn't have the same impact as it does on his smaller body. :bs:
