Oh my gosh...you've said some ignorant things on here, but this...just WOW!

Great recruiting base without any real instate competition. Playing in the weaker division in the best conference in America. Only reason I have USC higher is because I'd rather live in LA. Other than that Georgia has everything you could ask for.

A great coach like Nick Saban or Urban Meyer could have a John Wooden-esque run at Georgia.

Florida has to compete with Florida State. Texas now has to deal with A&M. Georgia has to deal with Georgia Tech. That is why I have it ahead of Florida and Texas.

Who does LSU have to compete with? Its a talent rich state and Miles has never went on a Wooden like run. In todays CFB, no coach coukd even come close to a Wooden like run.

Also, Georgia is not the #1 job in CFB.

With current administration at uga I think u see them go after Dan mullen gator ties make him high on their board in my opinion

Georgia has Like 5x the talent the state of Louisiana. It's simply about depth of talent that has me putting Georgia above LSU.

Florida State
Texas A&M

Which of those jobs would you rank below Georgia? Because there are others I'd rank ahead of them including Tennessee. Recruiting base in only a small piece of what makes a coaching job desirable.

USC
Texas
Florida
Alabama
LSU

Georgia
Michigan
Notre Dame

Florida St
Oklahoma
Texas A&M

Bottom line:

Tennessee is a great job but there are better.

If you're gonna put Oklahoma in there, you better put Tennessee too. The two programs are very much on par, with recent success being the only significant difference. The state of Tennessee actually produces more D1 football players a year than Oklahoma does. Oklahoma is at its best when it can recruit well in the state of Texas, just as UT was before 2001 when it could recruit Georga well.

If UGA implodes and we start to pull players like Brown, Davis, Warrior, And Hardman out of Georgia regularly, we'll be back on top sooner rather than later. Nobody will be leaving us out of these conversations then.

Obviously, there is more to it but who wants to live in Baton Rouge?

I drove through once on a long tour and asked a cute waitress what there was to do in town, she paused, thought about it, looked sad and said "nothing really."
