Ok. I get what you're saying and you're a good poster, I just think reasonable people can look at Butch and have real, valid concerns.

I don't remember the exact distances but there was a play that was 3rd and 11 or so that we threw a 6 yard pass to the middle. Butch went crazy at the officials because of what he thought was a penalty. How about call an 11 yard penalty and leave the refs alone? He has chased the refs every game that I have been to. Whether he's right or not, he puts a lot of blame on the field on the refs.

Will be MUCH better after the players have had a full year to learn the complex schemes that Coach Shoop uses. We have a lot of young and inexperienced players on the defensive side of the ball right now. Don't forget that Kongbo has only been playing football for 4 years now. Most of these kids have been playing since 1st grade. Tuttle and Mckenzie are just now 1/2 way through their sophomore years. This team was never going to win a national championship. We will win more games this year than last. That is improvement. Did today suck? Yes!! But, this team is still a work in progress and is showing constant improvement. I'm just going to enjoy watching UT win out this season. The team that we take to Atlanta will look so much different than the one we saw today.

If you really think we are just gonna march through S. Carolina and Vandy on the road, you're crazy. They both have pretty good D, and have more than held their own against similar teams. I'm definitely worried.

Another good point. I think they can definitely improve, but they've got a long way to go before that unit could be considered a strength.

Fastest overall Bama team I've seen. Their trainers prob run sub 4.5. That being said I say that if we are totally healthy and both teams play their best game. We still lose by double digits. Speed kills and coaching does matter.
