Movies you've seen recently II

Watched “The Grizzlies” on Netflix last night. A slow, but good, movie based on a true story (with liberties taken as usual.)

Probably won’t watch it again, but I think it’s a good movie for anyone to watch at least once.

Jackass Forever- Insanely funny, would watch again, no doubt.

Marry Me- Watched with the wife last night for Valentines, it was alright, just the run of the mill romance movie. It made her happy though, so it counts.

Red Rocket 7/10. Gritty indie movie about an adult film star crawling back to his home town, Texas City a nasty oil refinery town on the coast. Not a lot of actors a lot of real people from the area. Strange vibe but I dug it.

If you're in to found footage horror check out Gonjiam: Haunted Asylum on Prime. Its like a modern take on found footage with some Blair Witch vibes thrown in. It is a Korean film so if subtitles aren't your thing....

The Foreigner, 8, nothing special as most of these action type movies are somewhat repetitive. Still enjoyable. Pierce Bronson and an older Jackie Chan in the staring role.

Minari is a really sweet movie about a Korean-American family trying to live the American dream farming Arkansas in the early 80's. It's kinda got everything. Quite a few laughs but mostly a serious movie. It's not the easiest watch but it's one of those movies you make your kids watch to appreciate what they have.

98% on Rotten Tomatos but that's overrating it a bit.

Watched it quit a while back. Thought it was excellent. RT and I have slightly different criteria when it comes to what makes a good movie. They likely have people that can appreciate more aspects of a movie I can.
