Brady? Over Manning and Rodgers? Do what?

Luck over RGIII is crazy too.

How does breaking a record make someone more valuable than another? So one single yard will determine his value to his team to you?

Brady has had as good if not a better year than both of them. The luck pick is based off him having tons of pressure and already being really good.

No, Brady has not been as good or better, but is in a more talented offense. Broncos have weak offense and only decent D. Pats are strong across the whole offense and Brady is still statistically behind both.

The Luck crap about pressure is stupid. He has no more pressure than any other top pick QB starting as a rookie. People are giving him a pass for his 75 QBR.

Does RGIII deserve it over Brees? Griffin was amazing, but I'd rather have Brees and I base that on how they played this season, not their past, not their potential.

The commissioner beat New Orleans. All year long. Drew Brees is the reason they have the ability to be competitive on any given day. That's why he gets my vote. RGIII is hard to argue against, though.

I disagree, and there's no way to know that for sure. We do know that with Orton and Tebow last year that the Broncos did indeed lose to KC and Oakland. They lost to Buffalo and Detroit by 26+ last year for hell's sake. Considering it's pretty much the same roster, minus Manning, I'd say that debunks your statement.

Denver won their division last year, minus Manning plus Tebow.

Take away Manning and their not a bad team.

Take away Peterson and the Vikings have got nothing at all to go with the NFL's worst passing offense.

You do realize this same team went 2-14 last season right? The O line is terrible, interim head coach, D changing from a 4-3 to a 3-4. and he is going to lead them to possible 11-5 and they are the 5 seed in the playoffs. Broke the record for most passing yards by a rookie with still 1 more game to go. Tied for most 4th qtr/OT comebacks by and QB ever. He was not only clutch in late game situations but money on 3rd downs all season. He did not have a running game all year really and is not running the same system he ran in college.

Nope he doesn't deserve it over Brees, it is debatable as to whether or not he deserves it over Wilson. Which I don't think he does.

Edit: Wilson over RGIII is splitting hairs, both deserving but being in DC is a huge advantage for RGIII.

The Redskins were 5-11, 6-10, 4-12, 8-8, 9-7 in the previous 5 seasons. They can win their Division. They lost Orakpo and Carriker, and Meriweather on D.

Luck is 10-5 with the same team that was 2-14, 10-6, 14-2, 12-4, and 13-3 the 5 seasons prior.

Cool, he passes for a lot of yards. He's 2nd in the NFL in turnovers.

The only position the pats have more talent on offense at is tight end, and even then both of them haven't been healthy at the same time in a while. No matter how you try to spin it, Brady's year is easily MVP worthy.

It's a pass happy qb driven league. For him to tear an acl and come back and break the single season rushing record. He should be honored for that.

Luck has also threw 599 passes, Griffin threw 375. Griffin has a running game, Luck does not. The Colts are not running the read option. Other than Wayne and Avery the rest of his options are rookies. Of the 26 QBs who have started at least 12 games, Griffin and Wilson have the fewest passing attempts. Cousins came in and led the skins to a comeback win over the Ravens and a win over the Browns. That shows how much they need Griffin.

I am trying to understand all the hype around Griffin, I can't really understand it. Is it because he plays in a big market?

Him being really really damn good and the best thing to happen to redskins football in decades probably plays a small role.
