I get about 4 solicitations per week about a cash, easy close offer on a property.

These outfits added text campaigns about 2 months ago.

Hmmm...interesting forced consumer financial move. With a new standard of 5 day delivery for 1st class mail sending anything important that is required to be received within a 3 day window now has to be bumped up to priority mail. Close to a $7 buck difference right there between a postage stamp and priority.

I expect a lot of online sellers of small 1st class mailable items to get burned by this and they’ll end up having to adjust their handling times or places like eBay, Etsy and others will need to adjust their stated delivery windows on the front end.

It's crazy, I ordered a gift on Amazon on Nov 8 and shipped on Nov 10th with a due date of Nov 20th after being shipped by the USPS...

10 days to ship a single item sounds crazy, right?

Nope, now the due date is Nov 24th to an address in Jacksonville, Florida. Two weeks to ship a package from an Amazon facility in Nevada to an address in the lower 48? What kind of horse and buggy contraptions are they using?

It's time the government lets the USPS fail on its own. If I was a business, I wouldn't use them for anything but junk mailers.

That's ridiculous. The U.S. mail got ridiculously slow (a normal 3-day delivery taking about 3 weeks) when the state of Texas froze over. It never fully recovered after that. The U.S. mail has always been horrible though because it is run by a bunch of incompetent government workers with no incentive to make improvements.

So, 16 days from turning over the package to USPS in Nevada and delivering in Florida.

I have a package that's been sitting in Smyrna since the 9th, the crazy thing is, it was shipped out of OH and scanned into the Gallatin post office 2 days after I placed the order. USPS can't tell me why it's in Smyrna, I can't go to Smyrna to pick it up because "that facility doesn't have customer service" and they can't tell me when it will be delivered.
