My daughter is a FedEx sorter. We are in the Tri Cities area. I've asked her about this because I see a lot of U-Haul and other rental trucks with FedEx magnets on the side of them. She said they're using them because (at least around here) their trucks are all tied up and they are bringing on new people all the time.I’ve had quite a few FedEx gifts arrive from rental trucks.

They get away with it using the old coronavirus excusePiss poor times are certainly a reason the USPS should be privatized and have to stand on their merits (or lack thereof)
My Dad mailed a package to me from Tennessee on the 22nd on a two day mailer. "Expect delays" but with an estimated delivery date of the 28th. Okay, 'tis what it 'tis.
Still not delivered with an estimate of today... maybe.
Almost 10 days on a two day package.
Bezos is so rich he should have his own shipping company for all that Amazon stuffUSPS had no clue how much extra volume Amazon ditching FedEx would create. Both postal carriers who provide service for me are working 14+ hours six days a week. Apparently some of the problems arise from the union contract and inability to bring in some “seasonal” support.
He plans to but as long as he can make more money using somebody else he will. FedEx was smart enough to not ramp up only to have him pull the rug out. Postal Union will probably negotiate a contract based on Amazon volume then see a disaster when Amazon Delivery is introduced. Of course Amazon Delivery will have minimal manpower expensesBezos is so rich he should have his own shipping company for all that Amazon stuff
It’s been like that since before Thanksgiving. ShamefulPiss poor times are certainly a reason the USPS should be privatized and have to stand on their merits (or lack thereof)
