Mystery silent QB commit? (merged)

Still confused here. Said Kiffin says we have a big fish, but doesn't say a name or position for that matter. Than the poster says it is not any of these guys.

Now lets think here:

1. If it were a silent commit who is silent because they have a verbal commit to another school and wants to keep it silient I understand this, but why would Kiffin the head coach tell someone not on the staff who it was. Really now even with all his crazy recruiting he would wait and surprise people.

2. If I am Kiffin and even saw these boards and on the day that Scroggins didn't commit to UT and had UT fans coming up to me, I definitely would't be telling any thing negative. Basically I will throw something out there to you that gets you excited, puts a smile on your face, and hope you leave me alone.

3. If there truly is any validity to this story then the poster needs to please site the conversation verbatim so people on this board can actually interpret the conversation for themselves than someone else doing so how they thought it was said or implied.

Otherwise it is a rumor, no matter how much you want to believe in it, that has very little merit what so ever.

it ended up not mattering but Kurstin Biggers, a former UT running back and cousin of Patrick Turner, talked patrick into USC because Kurstin lined up against Al and Raynoch his first attemp and fumbled and never played running back again. He talked his cousin into going to USC and out of state. I guess it worked though. Patrick didn't do a thing at USC and he still got drafted

could be Paul Jones dont know if he is a big fish but you never know and all this could be bull so we'll see

I believe it is Bray considering we just offered him scholly. He was the 5th rated passer @ the Elite 11 this past week and was actually 1 spot above Scroggins. Also won the Golden Gun? Award I think that is what it was called.

If this guy knows who it isn't, then he either knows for sure who it is and just won't tell us, or this whole thing is BS. I'm really hoping it isn't the latter.
