Some knots are tied so they will slide when slack but hold when taut. Taut line hitch for example.wouldn't the tying of a noose require that it is tied so as to slide/constrict/loosen? that's not a function issue, it's a how it's tied issue.
tying a pull in a why that constricts when it is pulled from the loop would defeat the purpose of being a pull since it would tighten on your hand each time you pulled the door down and you'd have to loosen it to use it each time.
In the examples here, the noose constricts when pulled while loops (like the Bimini Twist Knot, Rapala Knot and Surgeon's Loop Knot) maintain the same loop size when pulled.

I know not if noose knots are similar.
