tying a pull in a why that constricts when it is pulled from the loop would defeat the purpose of being a pull since it would tighten on your hand each time you pulled the door down and you'd have to loosen it to use it each time.

In the examples here, the noose constricts when pulled while loops (like the Bimini Twist Knot, Rapala Knot and Surgeon's Loop Knot) maintain the same loop size when pulled.

Some knots are tied so they will slide when slack but hold when taut. Taut line hitch for example.
I know not if noose knots are similar.

Nice try Noosecar. That pic IS NOT Talladega. Been in the pits lots of times, garage area is single file, not back to back and that isn’t Talladega.
Sounds like Noosecar is trying to save face.

I noticed that the FBI never said it wasn’t a noose. They said it wasn’t a hate crime, I guess due to the length of time it had been there? I’m not sure why the conclusion but they never said it wasn’t a noose.

At this point it’s just time to move on. It looks like a noose so someone thought it could be a hate crime, NASCAR and FBI investigated, ruled it wasn’t a hate crime. You can see how people on both sides have valid points but it doesn’t matter now. All parties should just move on now. Nothing to see here anymore.

Yes, he's perpetuating a false narrative because he knows there was nothing racial about it. You can crow and call yourself right, but if anyone is guilty of overreaction it's Bubba and his crew. Even the FBI has stated it's a nothing burger. But I guess Bubba wants to soak up as much attention as possible.

These faux incidents rob the real ones of the seriousness they deserve. Congratulations on going all in on fake outrage.

I think people were ready to move on, but Bubba wasn't willing to let that happen. He had to get that spotlight back by playing on racial tensions over a non-racist act.

When it's real, it deserves the brightest spotlight we can shine. When it's not real, the involved parties shouldn't be out there trying to stir up outrage for the sake of outrage(or in Bubba's case, publicity). If Bubba wants publicity that badly, win a damn race. Don't double down on a fake incident. There was nothing racist about this.

No, moronic is suggesting I blame Bubba for the incident. I blame Bubba for his actions AFTER the incident was resolved. He could easily have admitted a mistake was made and let the whole thing go, but chose to double down on referring to a garage pull as a noose. He's intentionally trying to take an innocent situation and turn it into a racially charged moment. There was nothing racist about it, and he wasn't targeted.

He's not to blame for it happening, but he's absolutely to blame for trying to perpetuate it. Know the difference before you start accusing people of blaming him for the whole thing.
