'25 NC OT David Sanders (Tennessee)

We are absolutely faking injuries on PATs. This should be common knowledge by now. We have been doing this since Heup got here.
More than a few times last year our olineman got hurt on offensive drives. (Not PATs)
So were they resting??
I mean that goes against the uptempo purpose…

But I guess everyone else is just glued in an I’m repeating myself over and over again…

Lining up objects for no reason!

Our players aren't getting hurt every time. We've done it less this year because there have been fewer quick touchdowns.
I don’t think anyone here has said they get hurt every time.

Sham was injured during the UTEP game irrc.
Not on the PAT. But late in the game.

I assumed it was because he was dealing with an injury. The same thing he had been dealing with on PATs (or so I thought).

Sham was OUT the whole Oklahoma game.
Because of a knee injury.

So all the **** talking you all are doing can’t even be backed up.

Maybe it IS all staged.
Where is the evidence?

A guy dealing with a knee injury gets his knee injured on PAT and I’m supposed to know it’s somehow fake?

He didn’t miss a game this season, did he? Where is this coming from?
Yes he did

And maybe you all are still right.

But this dude has been hurt (fake or not) on offense and on PATs this season.

Apologies for not being able to read Shams mind when he missed an ENTIRE GAME because of a knee injury 🙄

I've often wondered what combination of autism and/or mental illness is on the other side of some posts. Of course some are probably just old fashion trolls, but gotta be some pathology there too.
You really shouldn’t so comfortably joke about that.
Those people are born that way. They have no choice in their condition.

I may have in fact missed this whole fake injury thing, but you shouldn’t speak on people that are born with a defect.

I can choose to be wrong, or be ignorant, but those people cannot, nor can they detect nuance in conversation.

I’ve been hurt on a PAT before.

Has it ever occurred to you that i might be speaking from experience????

3 times over 3 games? Maybe you’re right.
But Everytime I’ve watched those injuries happen to Sham specifically he over extended his leg.
What, did you hurt your head?

The OL injuries on the PATs are absolutely staged. Not sure why anyone questions that.

However, I am not as sure why we do it as much as we have this year, given our offense doesn't operate near at the pace it did in Heupels first 2 years. I could see mixing it up and doing on drives where we score in under 2 minutes. But 7-8 minute drives there's no need for it.

But we've also seen JH take an all encompassing approach to making sure players are rested throughout the game and kept fresh for the 4th quarter. It's why we we see them rotate so many players on the DL. And have seen it more with at least a couple OL positions this year too.

Yes, they're staged. Sham was hurt on a play that wasn't a PAT in one of later games. I do think he has dealt with a knee most all year, though like most all of us basing it on 👀

Yes he did

That’s right. It was the NC State game when he got legitimately hurt. He got rolled up on very awkwardly and I thought that he was done for the season. I remember being very surprised when he was able to come back so quickly. Thought it was the Oklahoma game when he returned, but I guess it was the next game. Anyway, the fact that his leg was bent that way, and he only missed one game speaks to the opposite of him being injury prone. A lot of guys would have missed the season with their leg being bent that way for a guy that size.

I’m sorry if I come off too hard on you for the PAT stuff. I appreciate your input on this board. But it’s quite obviously fake, so I’m surprised, more than anything, that you think otherwise. Consider that no other team has this many injuries on PAT’s. Or that it’s the same designated guy every season Or that the injured guy never missed the next PAT/FG, even after the long drawn out dramatic stoppage that takes place for his gruesome “injury.” He miraculously recovers from these devastating injuries every single time. I just thought we were all in on the joke.

I’d be interested to see the percentage of times a UT lineman goes down on PATs vs. all other plays. It’s way out of whack.

Regardless, I don’t think Sham is injury prone. The PAT stuff was fake, so we’re left with one play on which anyone would have been injured and he recovered quickly.

As the father of an autistic child, I appreciate this.

Rewatch the PATs.

It’s almost an after thought play the extra point- but the leg locking does put the body in compromising positions.

Again there’s commercial breaks after the kick. Those are 5 minutes minimum before kickoff. Which NO lineman are on btw. So then that’s 7-minutes from the end of a scoring drive till the defense has to take the field to rest…

If you don’t want to believe that, than just rewatch the PATs.

They’re not faking. But think what you will.

Hey man. They are faking. 100%. This is well known.
