**** Nebraska Vs Colorado Thread ****

All I'm going to say is I still think he'll never do anything other than have hype. I will say, they really improved that team from a year ago especially coaching hires. Hiring Lewis as OC was his best decision. In reality, without ESPN plastering his face since the hire, it wouldn't have happened. 86 new players, some look to be pretty good. It's kinda unfair recruiting wise. Heck, I saw a behind the scenes reality thing ESPN did the day he first landed. Can't remember them doing that for anyone else.

I also forgot to say he'll throw kids under the bus when things go bad. That's just the Neon Dieon way. Always been a finger pointer.

For Colorado, that is an accomplishment honestly. They were a dead program. They are going to be even stronger once they go to Big12 and have softer competition.

Regarding the fans on here, I get hate when I make "down to earth" comments about Tennessee about not being a real fan. I respond by citing that I am an Alumni. That usually shuts them up. Frankly, anyone posting on here is likely a serious fan. Some just have more reasonable expectations.

I’d like to think both could offer thoughtful advice, given their experiences as former players.
I wouldn't want my kid getting advice from Antonio Brown nor Joe Nameth (back in the day.)

Just because they were a player doesn't mean they're a role model. A coach, if I'm sending my kid to them, needs to be able to parent when I'm not there.

That excludes Urban and Freeze too because there's no way the players didn't know sleaze was all over those guys.

Prime may not be sleazy but he's one cocky individual. Cocky kids annoy me.

Your opinion is noted.

They play in a weak conference now.

Maybe it wasn't anyone in this thread, but back when Tennessee was searching for a coach, all 5 times lol, many many people knew Urban was a slime ball but they would have taken him if he was available "just win". Would have taken Hugh Freeze " Just win". Some even would have taken James Franklin or Bobby Petrino...."just win".

What are his character issues? I'm legitimately asking. I don't keep up with him.

Point being not everybody is who they seem. Just because you praise God in front of the camera it doesn’t mean anything.

In Deion’s postgame interview, all he did was repeatedly talk about resiliency and how proud he is of the kids and how hard they work.

It's heartwarming to see how quickly the hard work ethic it took to discard all those garbage players has paid off for the Prime Academy Buffaloes.
