**** Nebraska Vs Colorado Thread ****

It doesn’t go for everybody, you’re doing an exception thing. A lot of people tell others what they wanna hear on camera. Don’t act like you don’t know.

I‘m using your argument against you.

If Deion is the exception to the rule, why is Tebow the rule?

And why is Deion the exception?

Tebow was labeled as cocky and a Christian grandstander during his playing days.

Based on your logic it’s no stretch to suggest they’re one in the same.

I'm not a fan of the egomaniac like him, but good grief. Like the announcers were saying earlier. Everyone giving him a hard time for how he went about this whole thing ...wtf did y'all want him to do? Lol.

Just win. He's coached 2 games that were on the schedule just like everybody else does. He's won both.

Maybe it wasn't anyone in this thread, but back when Tennessee was searching for a coach, all 5 times lol, many many people knew Urban was a slime ball but they would have taken him if he was available "just win". Would have taken Hugh Freeze " Just win". Some even would have taken James Franklin or Bobby Petrino...."just win".
That's the issue for me. If you look at it from the view of a parent, to you really want your kid around some of these guys?

Most D1 kids will never sniff the next level and that college experience and learning outside the classroom and inside the locker room will be important.

I'm not saying you need (or could find) a choir boy coach but you need someone who inspires respect and discipline. Prime is too brash and maybe too loose for me. Urban is too sleazy.

Heupel knows what's up in the world. I'm sure he knows even the best, like Peyton, are going to show their butt sometimes, but he's got a demeanor of "this is what we expect" and I'll cut you some slack but not too much slack.

Not that it matters but why tell the team “there ain’t gonna be no hoodies in meetings but it’s ok for the starting QB because of his last name?

LOL, his two wins are better wins than any SEC team has achieved so far this season.

That’s a terrible argument considering Nebraska is terrible and TCU lost a lot of their players.

Again, the fact you fanboys act like this impressive, really speaks volume.

One’s a coach and it looks good for players parents, one isn’t. There’s your difference. Go back and listen to Deion’s draft day interview and you’ll see why I can’t stand him. He’s full of himself. I grew up idolizing people like MJ and Bo, not some arrogant dude like Deion.

All I can say is don't let your kids play for him.

You read about him talking to one of his players dad last week right after the game?

It is what it is.

Jordan wasn’t egotistical and arrogant? News to me.

Yikes.

Now that we can agree on and yes I’ve admitted in another thread and this one that he rubs me the wrong way and have never been a fan. I need to work on my angry posts as well about him, doesn’t make me a better person typing that stuff.

That’s a you problem, not a Deion problem.

I‘m going out on a limb here, but I’m guessing the kids Deion needs to be successful as a coach have a much different opinion than you do.
