New Arizona Immigration Law

no I'm not. I'm telling them that if I have reason to stop them, they damn well better be able to prove they're an American, because I now get to ask and am going to.

If providing proper paperwork is an issue, good riddance.
the point being, if you're not hispanic with this bill, you won't have the same burden...

how is that fair??? It's called equal protection for all CITIZENS, and without it, the bill is against the law.

Ever heard of the government enforcing it's laws to protect it's states? Because the federal government hasn't.
i don't disagree there. good for arizona for passing a bill, just wish it wasn't so unconstitutional with its obvious profiling that's going to happen.

Answer my question. What percent of Arizona illegal immigrants do you think are white?

bullcrap, of course I do. If you're illegal, you have a burden. If you're legal, what's the burden?

How is it protection for our citizens to continue to allow unaccountable illegals to live here above the rules?

HAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAH, so you go to Arizona....... you think you're gonna be asked to prove you're a citizen???? get rid of that naive mindset
If I was asked to prove I'm a citizen, I'd have no problem.

In fact, I'd be sure to wear my ID as a necklace if I choose to commit crimes as well, just for the police officer's convenience. How about that?

link??? proof??? that it isn't against the law.... there hasn't been enough time either way for it to be proven... i'm just giving an opinion, one of which the courts will decide

Agreed. Supporting illegal immigration is like telling people they have to let a homeless person live in their house if they manage to break in.

very few........... still doesn't give any state a right to question one race/ethnic group of their legality while totally dismissing another race/ethnic groupo.

the question you're asking is one I'd expect from my 6 year old, not an adult.

The point is that if I'm busted for anything, I provide positive ID that says I'm who I am. Now, everyone has to, including illegals. If they can't, so long. This is not hard. We now all live by the same set of rules, rather than letting the lawbreakers live beyond them.

I read the part that is in question. Nothing even remotely unconstitutional or discriminatory.

It's not fair... Hence the reason I say EVERYBODY should have to go through the process... If you agree with that, than I have no problem with the bill at all.

We agree with that. The process, however, requires suspicion. You can't accept that.

who isn't having to live up to the federal law? Which group is being excluded? So far, the hispanics have been excluded and AZ's people have said that it's absolute garbage. They want it addressed. It now will be.

No one dismissed any ethnic group.
Seriously, a crime is committed by somebody and they don't have their license... (stupid, yes, but not against the law not to have your license)

WHO is going to have to proof their CITIZENSHIP legality more often with this bill???
