I've never believed that Gruden would give up his sweet gig to coach college ball.
It would take NFL money for him to quit his current job.
Grudenites were always delusional about Gruden coming to Tennessee but then again, lots of people around here live in dreamland, LOL!
VFL...GBO!!!
Get real folks. This is not a good job anymore. The program is at the bottom of the SEC outhouse! No currently successful head coach at a big program is going to come to UT!
According to Twitter....Petrino is our man. I know he has alot of baggage but so does the Vols. This may be a match made to fulfill 2 needs. He needs a job and we need to win. He has proven he can win that is without a doubt. If this does happen his contracts needs to state that he will reimburse the school if there are any type of violations. Alot of people are against him and i can agree with them but, this is an opportunity for both sides to win if it does happen. Personally i am ready for anyone who can lead us out of the bottom of the barrel. Any coach that comes here in our situation is taking a chance, if he will do it for us why can't we do it for him. Any opinions or logical thoughts?
